I -really- K-sensei does something more with Sakura. She had shown us that she does have a spine. I hope now that without Sasuke, Sakura can finally pull her head out of the sand and just GROW up! There's a time to be a child and then there's the realisation that what they do is not something that will ahve no repercussion.
