Guess who have a moded PS2? Guess? Guess?!!

I'm soooo happy. Just finished first chapter with Hugo, and I have to tell you the whole Suikoden feel to the game is finally kicking in. I'm sooo happy.

[livejournal.com profile] amei, the webpage might take longer. I'd lucky if I leave my PS2 longer than half an hour in the next couple of days. Need to play.

That boy is always brooding in the manga, seriously... You get treated to a few flashbacks, and he constantly refers to THE DEATH.

In volume four, when the Alma Kinan archers turn up to help Hugo & co in the vs Harmonia battle, he learns the hard way about war/principle, and compares his killing the Harmonian soldiers with Chris killing . I'm not sure if he does this in game or not. And then he cries some more. TT__TT Hugo-angst breaks me really.

and HOLY SHIT Suikoden 4 is getting a PAL release. Dude!!!

Huh. That is interesting and a nice point. If that part had happened in the game (Hugo doesn't cry in the game, because they don't know how to animate crying, but I guess if you like you can imagine him doing so), I would have found Hugo a more compelling hero. He doesn't.... angst as much in the game. He also does not fight Chris at the Lake Castle, because they don't even meet there. Also, Nash and Chris do not fall into the lake....

I think I'll make a list of the differences, if I can remember the game.
