Doctor Who

I love Doctor Who to tiny bits. The Girl in the Fireplace still makes me cry like a baby, and let's not even talk about Doomsday. I find it absolutely fascinating that most of season 2 was a set-up for a parting of ways. From The Girl in the Fireplace it was a series of goodbyes, accepting loss and moving on with one's life. School Reunion made it very explicit that those left behind does not always move on, not just the Doctor's companions but himself as well - the Doctor is immortal, his companions are not. Love & Monsters is absolutely fascinating on a thematic level, and when I finally get my thought in order I'll probably babble about it, for now I huggle the episode to my chest. Elton is your every-man, and his comments about growing up in our world is both heart-breaking and filled with joy.

There is so much I want to say but I'm so tired. So, to concludes, Rose Tyler = ♥
