Which is really strange, I mean ok, incest, I can read it but the abuse angle (especially between Itachi & Sasuke) makes me highly uncomfortable and squicks me. To tell you the truth; I want to read them as bothers (sure, Sasuke hates Itachi but Itach is still family). No matter how much Sasuke hates Itachi he can never let certain things, the fact that Itachi use to be his dead-older-brother is something that will always be with him. I truly do believe that if Sasuke ever manages to kill Itachi he would be emotionally devastated. NO sex.

Apparently he is happily playing the evil scientist under Orochimaru (I have not been keeping up.)

In regards to uchihacest, sex, and abuse through sex (and most of these fics are non-consensual), are kind of a catch all for mind fuckery. I dunno it seems way to...crass? for those brothers to operate. There are many different ways to fuck with someone's head, and Itachi is creative, so is Sasuke. In conclusion, I can see where people are driving at with it, but in the end Uchihacest just makes me go buh?!??

Exactly, I can see where they are coming from, but abuse (especially when it would be emotional) just get me very squicked). Also, as a technique to mindfuck, rape, in relation to the Uchiha does seem crass. Beside, Itachi does not seem the type of have hormones.
