OMFG! I saw Samurai Champloo tonight.

OMFG! I weep with joy. The series is OMFG! Beyond everything I've hoped for. AHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!

I LOVE!

amei, it is the style. It is the fucking STYLE!

Though I fear for Jin and Mugen. Shinichiro Wantanabe has a history of killing off at least one main character from any series he has been involved in. And to tell the truth I can see myself falling madly in love with both Mugen and Jin, and if either of them bite the dust in a heroic and suitable fashion I'm just gonna scream with anguish.

Anyways, THIS IS A FUCKING AWESOME SERIES!

Yes, Samurai Champloo! *pumps fist and fangirls with you* I like all three of the main characters so far, but I think my favorite is Mugen at the moment. Of course, this being the first episode, that could change. GAH, why are you talking about killing off characters already? ;-; *hides*

Mugen is COOL! Though I have to say Jin makes me fangirly ^^;;;

I'm talking about death becos ALL good Shinichiro Wantanabe's works ALWAYS involve the death of one of the main cast members.

Always.

And I'm not just talking about Cowboy Bebop. Macross Plus had the death (and OMFG I love that series). Beside, as guy friend pointed out, you have two protagonist who lives by the sword, and a plot that revolves around Samurais, of course they are going to bite it.

Samurai Champloo defines style. Period.

I'm hoping this will be the second in a trilogy, yanno Cowboy Bebop, Samurai Champloo, and ???? Hopefully something to do with Aztecs.

Jin, Mugen and Fuu are a bunch of crazies and I love them. Just ahhhh!
