Goodbye 2003



1.What did you do in 2003 that you'd never done before?
Lose weight. A lots of weight. Finished my degree. Got a life.

2. Did you keep your new years' resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
Hmm... didn't make any.

3. Did anyone close to you give birth?
No. (thank the gods)

4. Did anyone close to you die?
No.

5. What countries did you visit?
None. I'm rather boring, aren't I?

6. What would you like to have in 2004 that you lacked in 2003?
Learn how to drive, get a job... hmm, and maybe lose a bit more weight.

7. What date from 2003 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?
Don't really have one.

8. What was your biggest achievement of the year?
Finishing my degree with my sanity intact. Kept in contact with friends and was actually social. The yeas before I was feeling really isolated.

9. What was your biggest failure?
Hmm... not getting a job, or learning how to drive. Pathetic.

10. Did you suffer illness or injury?
Had a cold a few times, but no, nothing major.

11. What was the best thing you bought?
...hmm, a new computer. Mind you, dad bought that so I suppose it doesn't count.

12. Whose behaviour merited celebration?
Parents, friends, boyfriend, and a few sort od friend for putting up with me.

13. Whose behaviour made you appalled and depressed?
World events. Not gonna say more on this.

14. Where did most of your money go?
Bills.

15. What did you get really, really, really excited about?
Watching Return of the King. Yes, I'm a geek.

16. What song will always remind you of 2003?
Don't listen to music.

17. Compared to this time last year, are you:

i. happier or sadder?
Happier because I have a goal now. I don't feel like as if I'm wasting my life. I'm also keeping in contact with people I care about rather than feeling isolated and shitty.

ii. thinner or fatter?
Thinner. Need more of a muscle tone. Must exercise.

iii. richer or poorer?
Poorer. I have bills *sigh*

18. What do you wish you'd done more of?
Sleep, exercise, spent more time with friends in my psych class. Probably not going to see them any time soon.

19. What do you wish you'd done less of?
Stressing, crying, and feeling hopeless.

20. How will you be spending Christmas?
Spent it with friends reading manga. Yes, manga.

21. Did you fall in love in 2003?
Yes.

23. How many one-night stands?
None.

24. What was your favourite TV program?
None. I don't watch television, I have anime and manga, and games.

25. Do you hate anyone now that you didn't hate this time last year?
No. Can't get enough effort to hate people.

26. What was the best book you read?
Hmm... everything written by Lois McMaster Bujold.

27. What was your greatest musical discovery?
Uhh, don't listen to music.

28. What did you want and get?
Completion of my degree, lose weight, and being much happier than previous years.

29. What did you want and not get?
A job.

30. What was your favourite film of this year?
Return of the King and Kill Bill.

31. What did you do on your birthday, and how old were you?
My 21st was on the 22 of November. I got Suikoden 2 and Chrono Cross character books, a Dir en Grey concert DVD, a cow-cat, and the ROTK poster. It is big, and Aragorn look hot ^__^. It was nice.

32. What one thing would have made your year immeasurably satisfying?
To have gotten a job.

33. How would you describe your personal fashion concept in 2003?
Comfort and colourful.

34. What kept you sane?
Alcohol.... okay, that's not all. Keeping company. Boyfriend, friends, and parents. Love you all.

35. Which celebrity/public figure did you fancy the most?
No one. I don't fancy actors, I fancy the characters they portray. And I fancy ARAGORN the most. Obsessed? Me? Duh.

36. What political issue stirred you the most?
A lots of what America have been doing int he past year has been really annoying. Also, WA's wonderful new legislation on University fees isn't exactly making me happy. Fucking bastards.

37. Who did you miss?
Nothing much.

38. Who was the best new person you met?
I don't think I have met anyone new.

39. Tell us a valuable life lesson you learned in 2003:
Be happy, have a goal, and psychology does teach you practical things.

40. Quote a song lyric that sums up your year.
Uhh, once again, don't listen to music. Otherwise, this year was a good year is comparison to the last, oh 6 or 7 years.
