The Sarah Connor Chronicles

The Sarah Connor Chronicles, as most of you probably already know, is officially canceled, and I honestly thought I was OK with it. I pretty much made my peace with the possibility of cancellation after the season finale. Except, well, I'm really not OK with it. I'm especially not OK with it when Dollhouse gets a second season but TSCC gets canceled. I just- it just fucking burns on so many levels, that of course they would renew the show that represents women as sex objects instead of the show depicting women as human. I'm just really angry with this.

Otherwise, have some awesome meta and review about the new Star Trek film.

I thought I read a statement from Fox that said that if they had cancelled dollhouse, the next day they would have a million angry emails from Joss Whedon fans.

Clearly the TSCC fans should get together and do a (e)mailing campaign and let Fox know that this is not okay.

Wish I were surprised. But not only are they canceling a show with awesome female characters, they're doing it right as the new Terminator movie comes out. What are they, comic book editors?

I don't even know what to say about Dollhouse; I watched the first episode, and I wasn't hooked. My questions were less about identity and more about the motives of the people running the place - why they'd implant a personality of a woman who'd been sexually abused to meet the abuser, for one. From what I've seen and heard, basically, wtf. I'd much rather have Sarah Connor.
