The Sarah Connor Chronicles, as most of you probably already know, is officially canceled, and I honestly thought I was OK with it. I pretty much made my peace with the possibility of cancellation after the season finale. Except, well, I'm really not OK with it. I'm especially not OK with it when Dollhouse gets a second season but TSCC gets canceled. I just- it just fucking burns on so many levels, that of course they would renew the show that represents women as sex objects instead of the show depicting women as human. I'm just really angry with this.

Otherwise, have some awesome meta and review about the new Star Trek film.

OMFG! There need to be a season 3

I would give up every single show I am currently watching in order to see a third season of The Sarah Connor Chronicles. Yes, EVERY. SINGLE. SHOW. That means I’ll happily see cancellation slips for Supernatural, Doctor Who and any other show because TSCC needs a third season like I need to eat and breathe. Gods, this show is one of the most amazing series ever to have been created, if it doesn’t get renewed I’m going to sob until I can’t sob anymore. (Except what if it sucks. Oh gods, what if they get a season 3 and I’m left horribly disappointed. CONFLICTED.)

I AM going to be CRUSHED when this show gets cancelled.

I don't talk much about The Sarah Connor Chronicles on my LJ because I don't feel that fannish about it. It is the only show I can think of that is the closest to perfection for me, and I feel no need for fan-created input. Having said that though I really want to squee a bit about this series because OMFG! It ROCKS my world and I wish there were more TV shows like TSCC.

I love the John Connor that is in this show, this boy with the world on his shoulders wanting to live his normal life, being confronted with the fact that he can't escape from his destiny, his fate. That he can run as much and as hard as he wants but at the end of the day he is who he is, and the decision he makes is the one that will set the world on his shoulders. It makes me squee when I see this John making choices that set him on a path he chose himself. I just love this John.

Derek, oh gods, Derek, I just saw episode 209 and I don't know what to say about him beside WILD HAND GESTURES and BAT-LIKE noises! I kind of want him ( spoilers )

I fear for Ellison, and OMFG! I Sarah and Cameron just rocks my world. This show, oh gods, this show.

Overall reaction - O.M.F.G!!!! There will be more when I get a chance to think about the whole episode in more depth.

The Supernatural Companions are awesome. I can't wait for the season 3 edition, it is going to be the best thing ever.

On other happy news - Sarah Connor Chronicles has been green-lighted for another season. YAY!

The Sarah Connor Chronicles is awesome. I have finished watching season 1, and I have come to the conclusion that SARAH CONNOR IS LIKE THE VIRGIN MARY, except the virgin part. The thing is she is like this ICON of all that is STRONG and POWERFUL in the future. She is the mother of John Connor, Saviour of Mankind, and John has painted her as this figure that soldiers are willing to die for. It is like the Elizabethan era when men are willing to die for their Queen because she is the personification of all their dreams and hopes! And she is strong, and she is good, but she is also a woman and a mother who is way over her head, and she is desperately trying to protect her son, and at the same time bring him up to be the man that can safe the world. I am just so in love with this show.

So, I have been trying to do a write up of The Sarah Connor Chronicles for awhile now, however, every time I open a word document I can only come up with one word; perfection. See, the thing with Terminator and Sarah Connor is that the former is probably my all time favourite movie, ever, and the latter is my BIGGEST girl!crush. I would turn lesbian for Sarah Connor. Anyways, the point is while I tend to ignore the existence of T3 as part of the Terminator franchise I am in absolute awe of SCC. Like completely without question in awe of the series. It is the one show that I will watch from beginning to end without fast forwarding bit or hunt down spoilers because I want to enjoy the series in the now. What I’m trying to say is that the series has done an amazing job of recreating all the reasons of why I was in love with the first 2 films; the plot feels cohesive, the characters are wonderfully fleshed out, and there is an injection of some brilliant ideas into the franchise.
