Transformers film!
I finally saw the Transformers film – GLEE! PURE GLEE!
My BIG!CRUSH for Optimus Prime will NEVER die! BIGGEST CRUSH, EVER! He had the SAME voice - Peter Cullen!
BUMBLEBEE! You are still as CUTE as EVER! EEE!
STARSCREAM! EEEEE!
I really could’ve lived without the Matrix slow-mo, it was really irritating. Like all Michael Bay films it was overly sentimental and cheesy, the man should only do pure action and not touch on character emotion, he suck at it. Having said that though, it really doesn’t matter because it had TRANSFORMERS!
Also, I found myself liking all the human characters, not because of great directorial abilities so much as the actors chosen and the script. However, for pacing purposes - the whole Sector 7 story-line was redundant, same as the analyst chick and the computer guy. I agree completely with the boyfriend when he said it would have worked much better as a series, something in the lines of Heroes.
Overall, GLEE! I am stupidly glad that they did not destroy my childhood memories, and there were scenes that I was near to tears because staring back at me from the screen was Optimus Prime and the other Autobots.

XD that movie was really good for the nostalgia. however, i agree with some reviews that if you weren't a transformers fan/high-octane action flicks buff to begin with, there's not much to like about it. it wasn't really trying to pack too much into one and a half hours, i think, as it lacked a lot of the substance that endeared us as kids to the original series.
the only character i really disliked was the token nerd blonde.

YES! EBAY! PRIME'S VOICE WILL ALWAYS EQUAL SEXY FOR ME. ALWAYS!
Definite for the nostalgia, which made me so happy. I do agree with you in relation to it being only good if one is a transformers fan/high-octane action fan, however, since I'm both it made me very happy! :)
I didn't mind the token blonde, I wish more time were spent on her because I wanted to know more. Actually, I think that's why it worked for me, because I liked all of the characters and I wanted to more about them! Hence the - if only it was a television series.
Also, I was near to tears when they tortured Bumblebee.

oh man the bumblebee torture was like my childhood being shredded. but i would've actually cried was if prime was the one being tortured (although we've gotten plenty of that in the original series already XD)
i was mortified and a bit wtf-ed at jazz's death, though - well, after taking out so many decepticons, i guess one of them had to go.

Bumblebee torture made me want to CRY! Because that's just WRONG. I mean, BUMBLEBEE! How can they?! Prime got tortured on a regular basis on the original series - I still remember when he died (the first time), my 7/8-yr-old self was completely devastated.
It was so SUDDEN! (Though Megatron was awesomely badass that it almost made up for it, almost).
a conversation between primes
Re: a conversation between primes
I had this huge GEEK moment when the screen went dark and Peter Cullen's voice began the introduction. It was like – if God had a voice that would be it.
Re: a conversation between primes
yeahh i had no problems with bumblebee. he was cute. i actually liked that he had no voice... the voice he used at the end was better suited for someone like wheeljack or something. man i miss wheeljack.
if god had a voice, and that were it, i'd hit that XD oh how the big dude's alpha-maleness has warped us.
Re: a conversation between primes
YES! Bumblebee was CUTE! ♥ And like you I was very glad he didn't ahve a voice. The voice they gave him was too deep.
i'd hit that So would I, so would I. PRIME = HOT. The end.
