Jared would make an awesome Thor

So, I’m really looking forward to several Marvel films; Captain America, Thor and Avengers. The problem now is a matter of casting. Captain America is going to be one of those characters that is nigh impossible to cast because he is loved by fans, and is meant to look all American (whatever that means), and it is just really difficult.

However, while Captain America may be difficult to cast I truly believe that Jared Padalecki would make an awesome Thor. You know Thor, who is canonically built like a house at a height of 6’6”. Well, Jared is built like a house and is so over 6’4”. His hair length is almost half way there, just bleach it blond and we have a Thor! Really! Also, I don’t care what the fuck my guy friends says whoever plays Thor need to be able to act, and you know Jared can act.

Pictorial evidence ahoy! I’m going for the Ultimates Thor because the winged helmet in the normal Marvel universe cannot be taken seriously.







The beard can be optional. The only thing Thor needs to be is HUGE and have blond hair. But mostly FOCUS on the arms. Yes, ARMS! And the SHOULDERS and we all know Jared’s hair is MUCH longer now! It can WORK!

But his facial features wouldn't match at all, not to mention the whole point here, Brad is not a brick shithouse XD I think age and hair are the only things that he has going for him.

So true - Brad's facial feature is more suited for Cap's. But every time I think about Pitt as Cap I get slightly nauseous. Oh, Jared, you are so built. Hair can be faked; age is the only thing that's holding Jared back for the role of Thor.
