Nana

I'm pretty sure I hate Nana.

No, I really can't expand on this feeling or the reasons (though I have my suspicions), it is just this deep, deep, deep wealth of resentment, anger and sheer seething hate for the series. (This is depsite reading 11 volumes of it. However, no more... well, until I stop having the urge to kill, and just maybe it is a love-hate relationship rather than just a plain hate relationship. We'll see what happens when I can think less murderously.)

It depends on who is doing what but mostly I must curb the urge to kill Hachi. It is hard to truly like her because... well, it is more of a RL influence than anything else. When you have had someone like Hachi in your life for over 5 years it is hard to love or admire someone like that in fiction without hurting yourself or wanting to do physical harm. You can only sit and be the shoulder to cry on for so long before they start to drag you down. Um, moving on.

I think it is the sense of dishonesty that permeates every character and how they feel that makes me want to throw a fit. Which may be unfair to half of the cast but there's just something about the characters in the series that get up my goat.

I pinched them from [livejournal.com profile] colorfilter. There need to be more pretty!

Heh, I can see how being in Junko's position would be maddening. However, it does seem as things go on that Hachi is...becoming more stable? (I've read up to vol 13, so YMMV).

What do you mean by "dishonesty?"

Thanks for the icon rec.

Oho, and BTW, it helps to quell the pain if you spread it to other people and get them to read Nana. MWAHAHAHA.
