Australia lost. Not happy.
Otherwise; FF12 is good, We ♥ Katamari is on drugs, and there is much anime.
Ergo Proxy is damn addictive and serves as much food for thought. I’d be lucky if I get a quarter of the literary, philosophical and scientific references it spatters throughout one single episode.
Through the years I have developed an acknowledgement of certain visual keys that I take as being implicitly sexual within fiction: lingering touch on the neck, whispering into another’s ear, and of course the grasping of the chin while whispering into another’s ear (as a side note the scene in the lab with Rauld pushing Daedalus on top of the capsule containing Mona was- was just creepy: it is the overt power play that the former is messing with that creep me out more than anything else). So, colour me a giggly-fangirl when Ergo Proxy provides me implied sexuality every 10 minutes between its male characters, male and female characters and the most mind-breaking of all: one individual’s selves hitting on each other. The way Ergo Proxy acts around Vincent and the way Vincent reacts to Ergo Proxy in episode 11 (or was it 10…). It is fascinating, and I’m absolutely in love with the way memory is represented in Ergo Proxy.
The scenes of Vincent in the maze of a library filled with books titled ‘Vincent Law’ that are filled with blank pages hit me on a guts level. There just something that breaks one’s will and chills you down to the bone when confronted with a visual representation of what your subconscious already know.

Am trying not to read what you're saying about Ergo Proxy--I haven't found the first few episodes yet, so I can't start watching it. But I will! Eventually! :D

Ergo Proxy is AWESOME! OMFG! It is just- just so brain-stimulatingly good. And I don't want to spoil it for you so I shall sit on my hands till you find the episodes!

I've heard that it's really good! Mostly I'm just annoyed because I'll probably have to torrent those episodes after being able to find direct downloads for later ones. I'm very impatient. :D

Unfortunately no. It is back to work, and running a camp for the next week, then it is more work. But I'll get it done before I leave for Singapore... hell, I'll get it done by the 10th of July.
