Naruto babbble and questions

Because I’m slow it has taken me this long to figure out something that has been nagging at me. That old Hag (can’t remember her name), at one point, commented that the Tails were used by the other Hidden Villages as weapons, so, does that mean the Kyuubi was also a weapon that the Leaf was trying to utilise? Because you know that puts a whole new spin on the whole ‘Demon-fox attempted to destroy our Village for no reason than because he’s evil.’ It isn’t the first time that K-sensei has implied that Konoha isn’t lily-white, it is just that they are less likely to attack other villages, but no one ever said people don’t do horrible and often stupid things to protect those they love. If the Kyuubi attacked Leaf because the Village attempted to capture and use its energies as a force to protect  the Village… well, let’s put it this way, if some Village attempts to capture you and makes you its slave, what would you do? I know I’d be pissed, and if I happened to be an all powerful fox I’d so kill every last one of those pesky ninjas that tried to capture me. Makes perfect sense (probably why I like many a so called ‘villains’.)

What the tag says.

  1. Just what is the difference between Kakashi’s Nin-dogs and the other big Summoning (i.e. Slug, Frog, and the Snake)?
  2. Is there a difference between the Summoning and the Tails?
    1. Do the two types come from the same dimension?
    2. Are the Tails truly demonic or are they a Summoning?
  3. Actually, what is the deal with the Summoned animals?
    1. Why do they make contracts with the Ninjas? It is obvious they have their own lives wherever they do come from (at least the Frog does).
    2. What do they get out of being in Naruto’s world? I can see why the Snake would do it (destruction, food, etc.,) but I obviously can’t see why the Frog or the Slug would even bother.

And that’s all for now. I’m just trying to get a handle on the Tails situation.

I would suspect so. I mean, I don't think of Konoha as perfect; perhaps the beast had even escaped. I had never really thought of the Kyuubi as evil, more as just a powerful wild animal/force of nature that came over the village like a hurricane.

1. Don't know. I'm guessing they're similar, only there is no "big dog" or Kakashi doesn't have a contract with it.
2. I think the Tails aren't summoned, they're put inside people.
a. Nothing shows that they do, actually.
b. Good question.
3. No idea either.
a. Hmmm... yes, it seems like the ninjas don't need to give anything or be summoned in return (ha, that would be funny. If the little toad in the toad world were trying to summon Jiraiya and instead Naruto came out. XD)
b. No idea... sounds like fanfic inspiration?

1. Would be kind of cool though.
2. So, only able to be controled through a container. That puts a spin on things.
2b. It is one of those things I want explained so I can mull over.
3a. *snicker* And they can run away together from the fanger (though Naruto would more than likely stay behind and fight.)
3b. I though wish someone who's better at expressing at themselves would do it.

I tend to speculate that the tails could only be controlled through a container or by whatever Akatsuki were doing, because if there were a way to summon them or use them more conveniently, wouldn't they be doing it?

On the other hand I sort of suspect Kishimoto is making this up as we go along... Maybe at some point one of the big animals will confront a Tail, so we can get an explanation.
