Thank you for the Dir en Grey concert DVD. I luv you guys *huggles* I have put it to good use already. So many Kyo screen caps.

I have learned a few things in the past 24 hours.

1) Alcohol, coca cola, and fatty food make me hyper.
2) Sleep is over-rated, and if I live on a diet like the one stated in point 1, I can by-pass sleep altogether.
3) I suck at Dynasty Warriors, but it is still such an AWESOME game!
4) In reference to point 3, 'Battle of the Bishies' did not go well for me. Will kick the ghei one's arse even if it kills me. Teh bish Zhao Yu will PREVAIL!
5) Most anime bore me, but if I don't think at all I can sit through anything.
6) I can wear my new, shiny black shoes with the heels anytime. After all, if I can walk in them for approx 3km without tripping, twisting (basically minimal discomfort), I can wear them at all times.
7) Old sushi is disgusting. I have always known this in theory, but it was the first time I actually had them.
8) MacDonald's rules supreme.
9) You CAN feel alcohol floating in your blood stream.

I also have a load of icons. However, I suspect no one will like them. They are from rather obscure (old) series. Now I shall go and give Grandia 2 a bell.

Before anything else, I've seen the Die en Grey live dvd. Kyo is God. Toshiya is a goof ball. Die is gorgeous and cool. Kaoru is a deceptive and cool. Shinya is a girl. I must see them live. Thank you eirivan!!! (and I've got the pics and urls as well ^__^)

Now to RL; feeling stressed and physically ill. Perpetual headache have appeared, back pains have started and stomach is really upset that I want to throw up.

I'm behind on lecture reading (this is only the second week of Uni) and research for the three 3000 words assessment due in September and October is not going anywhere. Resources for the essays is on loan and already booked till the end of October when the assessments have already finished. Have one psych assessment due in two weeks time. It's a critique of a journal article which should be fairly easy. 'Should' being the operative word.

On the up side I actually know what the fuck is being taught in the lectures.

Found out today that more than 50% of students failed Psych 201, which was a bit of a surprise. Psych 201 and 202 is known for being hard, but damn over 50% of the students. Considering there's ~500 psych students, that's truly impressive. What stunned me more was the fact that the results for 201 students were bi-modal! Since I know for a fact that the psych units haven't changed at all I'm left a bit curious. Just how the hell did that many people manage to fail? It's hard, but it has always been hard.

I'm quite happy that I passed when I took 201 (okay, downright gleeful), but I'm also slightly scared. If the psych units haven't changed at all (I know it haven't, hell they are still using the same bloody notes from 2001, the year I took the unit), and they have the same lecturers then, well, then obviously there's somethign wrong with the way the students are going about studying for psych.

I'm content, I'm happy, I'm feeling accomplished. This might not last longer than a few days but I don't care, I'm here now ^___^

....... and I can't believe I'm listening to Hikaru Utada and -singing- along with her. Oh god, I can actually sing part of the lyrics in Japanese. This is just wrong, wrong, but ohhhh, melodic music... I feel dirty.

Being listening to lots of music and have decided that I MUST watch Dir en Grey live. I MUST. It doens't have to be now, but one day, ONE day I'll see them perform live. Seeing clips of them performing live is just, just, wow. I can't even imagine what they'll be like live.

So yeah, feeling good and pretty ^__^
