SPN - 2x12 Nightshifter
OMFG! I LOVE THIS EPISODE! OMFG!
- Federal agents! Yeee! I was wondering when they were going to get back to the COSTUMES! YEEE!
- Dean being hit on; AHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! He's so back in the game. Finally.
- I like Ron; I love the fact that Sam is the Scully to Dean's Mulder (Sam is so full of awesome in this episode). Also, MANDROIDS!
- The COSTUMES! Sam and Dean is really hot in the episode.
- Sam's face when Dean made himself the sacrifice AGAIN! OMFG! I LOVE SAM!
- AHAHAHAHA! Another woman fall before Dean's awesome ability as Hero. SAM'S FACE! HOW AWESOME IS HE IN THIS EPISODE? REALLY AWESOME!
- SHIT! Dean's face is on TELEVISION! SHIT! John is going to KILL him! OMFG! REPERCUSSIONS!
- Ron! I liked Ron; DEAN'S FACE! SAM'S REACTION! I really, really love Sam in this episode. Action man.
- Special agent Henrikson(?) is awesome. He comes across as smart and extremely good at his jobs, makes rival, and someone Dean could have been if he wasn't a Hunter.
- The phone call is just - *wordless rage*. No one talks smack about John- except you know, the fandom and the other Winchester men. I really ike the agent though. Also, DEAN'S REACTION! THE BOYS ARE ON TOP OF THEIR GAME FOR THIS EPISODE.
- NOOOO! I LIKED SHERRY!
- AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! IT PLAYS POSSUM! Seriously, Dean and Sam's reaction to Sherry's collapse is hilarious. And yes, he said "Huh."! I love it when they say huh.
- Dean vs. Shapershifter. I laugh at the "grosse", I laugh at the foot in the nuts, I shout TRAUMA as she dies. Man, Dean's face is just too painful to watch.
- SAM! OMFG! YOU ARE SO AWESOME! Took down 2 trained SWAT members. So cool.
- I LOVE THE SONG CHOICE!
- Escapes as members of the SWAT team.
- "We are so screwed."
Other thoughts - I'm still trying to get over the whole 'they're so screwed' kind of feeling. Though I admit I'm highly curious about the police's explanations about the shifter's body and the witness report. You can only delude yourself for so long, even the 'normal' agents and police officers. Sam and Dean was all kind of awesome in this episode - Jensen and Jared really nailed their characters in this episode.

Wasn't it just the best? I have not being this happy with an episode since, um, actually I think this is the happiest I have been with a SPN episode. It is like all those glimpses of brilliance has finally decided to gel together to reach this place of amazing story-telling. The episode managed to hit ALL the points - plot, characterisation and finally owning up to the consequences of their actions.
To repost what I said on destina's lj in relation to the mad love I have for SPN:
It is novel, and it is something that has always charmed me about SPN, yes, there may be much hands waving but there are also amazing shows of logical conclusions that blows you away.
Perseid, it is as if all my hopes for the series has finally been answered, even though I kept on telling myself they never would, because you know, I'm so used to other shows NOT following up on cause and effect.
MAD LOVE! I'm in a really good place at the moment.
