SPN 3x06: Red Sky At Morning
I LOVE this episode with BIG LOVE HEARTS!
OK, now I like Bela, I love how the writers has avoided the heart of gold crap that always comes with characters like Bela. I love how she pays her debts in cash and not other forms of help. I love that she and Dean want to jump each others bones for purely hedonistic reason, and would more than happily shoot each other if given the reason and opportunity. Also, they CONNECT because the two of them are so damaged, they recognise it in each other, there is a link created between them, yet they would kill each other in cold blood if need to be. LOVES so very much.
There are so many comedic moment in this episode for me – Dean hyperventilating because the Impala had been towed, Sam with the old lady, Dean and Bela’s comments in regards to Dean in a Tux, the angry sex comment, and I just love this whole thing to little bits.
Once again we have references to brothers; one who killed the other, and who are aptly referred by Sam as Cain and Abel. Except one betrayed the other because the latter became the enemy – oh, foreshadowing!
I LOVE the season so far, while the first half of season 2 had the emotional impact it didn’t have the same kind of energy and cohesive plot as this season, and I love it to bits. No complaints about characterisation and plot from me.
