SPN 3x16

So, I finally got around to watching the SPN finale.

Running commentary throughout the episode )

Well, on an emotional level I'm actually OK, I think, in many ways, the season did an excellent job of laying the ground work for the season finale. I'm not wrecked on an emotional level because I know this will be resolved in season 4. Ah, the joy of knowing our show has been renewed before the season finale. As a whole I prefer season 3 over season 2, and I'll probably be talking about the whys of it sometime in the near future. Now I must got and compile a fic rec list of Iron Man fics for vel.

So, the other day I decided that I was ready to watch the last 2 episodes of Supernatural as I felt I was emotionally stable enough to view it without being horribly scarred. I watched 3.15, which I really enjoyed, and then I clicked on 3.16. I was met with a black screen and the message of = the video cannot be rendered. I tried several times with several players only to be retold the same thing over and over again. There were some swearing but mostly I’m going to see this as a sign and not watch the season finale till the beginning of season 4. I may be less traumatised this way.

I’m in the process of making my way through the Alex Rider novels. In relation to Stormbreaker - if only they had followed the novel a bit more closely instead of dumbing down the plot, or attempt to make it look ‘cool’. The book was fun and never lost its pace, and the rest of the characters were so much more interesting and less of a caricature like that of the film version.

Supernatural Season 3 Finale: First Look. OMFG! The SECOND CLIP! OMFG! So, I have FOUND my SQUEE for SPN again, and I want it NOW! OMFG! NOW! I don't consider the clips to be spoilers, it isn't anything people havne't thought of already, but to those who want to keep a virgin mind about the season finale don't watch it, especially the second clip.

*Mumbles to self - deanmustgotohelldeanmustgotohelldeanmustgotohell*. Season 4 will be awesome.

CW, I still find you to be a network full of idiots and incompetent dicks, but all you need to do is survive for 2 more years so that SPN can finish its 5 year run on your network. Then I hope you sink, because while I applaud your vision, your mission has been rather pathetic. You have continuously ignored your high rating shows in favour of spending millions advertising for shows that have lower ratings.

In conclusion; SPN season finale this WEEK! OMFG! EEE!

Season 3 Supernatural Ratings

So, here are the ratings for all screened season 3 episodes of Supernatural. I’m happy to say Jus in Bello did very well at 3.23 million viewers (remember, this is the CW) last week. Also, for the same week, February 18-24, Jus in Bello came at number 3 in the ratings for CW. The series is doing good, now lets see whether CW will get their damn act together and actually do some promotion for the series. I need there to be a season 4.

OMFG! OMFG! OMFG!

I'LL BE MORE COHERENT, LATER. REALLY. MAYBE.

OMFG! OMFG! OMFG!

SUPERNATURAL, I FORGIVE YOU FOR THE LAST 2 EPISODES, YOU ARE BRILLIANT AND BEAUTIFUL, AND MY RAY OF SUNSHINE IN LIFE! OMFG!

SO OBVIOUSLY I DO HAVE THINGS TO SAY, WITH COHERENCY TOO, LESS ABUSE OF CAPS TOO! )

So, yes, I LOVE this episode with the passion of a thousand burning sun. Oh, and Jared was AWESOME in this episode.
naanima: ([SPN] Sam the Boy King)
I’m finding the mythology that has been revealed in Supernatural this season to be absolutely fascinating. I may not agree with it whole heartedly but it makes very interesting brain food.

This episode had moments of sheer awesomeness, but before we move on just one thing – SAM is REALLY PRETTY in this episode, like STUPIDLY PRETTY! OMFG! I may LICK him PRETTY! Uh-hum, so onto the actual spoilers!

Dream a Little Dream of Me )

In conclusion, PLEASE LET THERE BE A SEASON 4! Or there will be CONSEQUENCES!

Life has been fairly good.

Watched Supernatural 308, there will be comments at some point in the near future. I'm still processing everything that happened during the episode. However, one of my reoccurring thought throughout was that Kripke is a major fanboy of Neil Gaiman. Bless the man's heart.

[livejournal.com profile] perseid and I fangirled muchly over Korean pop-artists; we have come to the conclusion that we are suffering from puberty in reverse as we are insanely obsessed over Korean boy bands. Though I confess I'm just obsessed with the Korean music industry in general.

BTW: Xiah Junsu has officially become sex!ass.

Have watched the Anyband concert; Tablo, BoA and JunSu is AWESOME! I'm still a bit confused at the pianist; she's cute, but her presence at a pop concert throws me a bit. BoA is so much more edgy (HOT) when performing in Korea; she's just awesome. Tablo and Epik High are such dorks; LOVES, and DBSK as usual made me squee with glee, though YunHo's absence hurts.

Also watched most of DBSK's Bonjour Paris DVD; YunHo and Jaejoong are so married, and everyone is just so damn cute.

As the World Turns is bringing back the ghei; Luke and Noah makes an appearance, finally, and I saw one of the best fictional depiction of how a grandparent would deal with a gay grandchild. I can't believe soap operas are bringing me semi-realistic depictions of relationships.

Also, I’m of two mind when it comes to LJ’s new customise layout page – it is rather counter intuitive.

Waiting for DVDs, books and more DBSK merchandise.

I LOVE this episode with BIG LOVE HEARTS!

SQUEE LOVE! )

I LOVE the season so far, while the first half of season 2 had the emotional impact it didn’t have the same kind of energy and cohesive plot as this season, and I love it to bits. No complaints about characterisation and plot from me.

Solid episode, and the last 5 minutes made me go – )

I have got more to say, but I'll have to think about it a bit more.

It is interesting that while this episode wasn’t brilliantly directed, and the writing at times were chunky, it still managed to hit several of my squee buttons )

I hear next week is going to be hilarious. NB: I’m currently completely unspoiled for this season, I want to see how long I can keep this up.

SPN3, so far, I love Dean's characterisation.

The season premiere made me not happy, but The Kids Are Alright made up for it. I don't understand why everyone thinks spoilers ).

I am HAPPY with the characterisation; I’m even impressed with the plot and new person. What I’m not impressed by (as always) is the pacing of the episodes – but this is an old gripe I have with the series that’s not going to be disappearing anytime soon. I just wish they had a really good editor who cuts the episode in such a way that it doesn’t drag. Nightmare and Hunted could have been so much more awesome if only the pacing hadn’t let it down.

But back to the point - I don't understand where the unhappiness with the Dean characterisation is coming from.

I'm confused. Now I go to sleep.

It is good to have my show back. Now let's see how this season pans out.

SPN3 - 01: Still waiting for it.

No, I have not seen the new episode of SPN. I’m currently at work and will only be able to start the download once I get home. Will definitely talk about it once I get my little grubby hands on the episode - I am mightily impressed by my self-control at not reading spoilers for the episode. Yes, I'm surprised too.

By the squee I’m seeing on my FList, I’m guessing the S3 premiere is made of awesome goodness. Damn you people who gets to watch it before me! Damn you!

*SITS on HANDS*.

SOON!
