Supernatural 310 – Dream a Little Dream of Me
I’m finding the mythology that has been revealed in Supernatural this season to be absolutely fascinating. I may not agree with it whole heartedly but it makes very interesting brain food.
This episode had moments of sheer awesomeness, but before we move on just one thing – SAM is REALLY PRETTY in this episode, like STUPIDLY PRETTY! OMFG! I may LICK him PRETTY! Uh-hum, so onto the actual spoilers!
Bobby’s past was nothing we didn’t expect but it explains so much about how he seems to be the guy that all the other Hunters come for help, why Bobby is such a fountain of knowledge. It must have sucked so badly to have murdered his possessed wife to only find out later that he could he saved her if he had known all the exorcism rituals that he knows now. Poor Bobby.
As a side note I don’t know why I always breaks out into giggles when we see Bobby’s forehead; no hat = OMFG! BOBBY!
How much do I love it that Dean is Bobby’s emergency contact? OMGF! SO VERY MUCH! There my friend is some deep trust, what I really want to know is when Dean was dubbed Bobby’s emergency contact – was it before or after John’s death? Oh, food for thoughts.
Sam being an emo-drunk will forever makes me laugh, for Sam’s confused- annoyed-drunk face will be FOREVER cute for me as it makes him look like a disgruntled 5-yr-old. Then Sam has the FUNNIEST sex dream, not because of the content but the person! The dorky face and the DROOLING! And Dean’s Angelina Joline? Followed immediately by Brad Pitt? AHAHAHAHAHA! Also, Sam using his tongue – mmmm.
Then we go into the truly awesome scene of the forest turning into a corridor of a motel – awesome effects, just awesome, and then followed by the scene of Dean facing off Demon!Dean. I kept on getting distracted because Dean is so BEAUTIFUL in this scene, and after awhile I couldn’t tell who was saying what. Awesome. And now I’m going to reuse what I said at
fleshflutter’s lj in relation to Dean and his issues with John (with minor edits, and hopefully more clear thinking).
That last scene of Demon!Dean snapping his fingers? OMFG! Hot and so very creepy – my god, I think I want me some Demon!Dean.
In conclusion, PLEASE LET THERE BE A SEASON 4! Or there will be CONSEQUENCES!

- Sam has bad handwriting.
- Dean’s over-caffeinated state; so very funny.
- Sam’s super-powers! Also, the overly explicit Christ allusions, hmm, so Sam Winchester = Christ or the Anti-Christ?
- And OMFG! Dean WANTING Lisa and BEN in his LIFE! Just OMFG! CRIES! He want that for himself, he wants the wife, he wants the son, and he wants the NORMAL life!
Dear writers,
Thank you ripping my heart out, I really didn’t need that organ in the first place. Really.

I LOVE John with the passion of a thousand burning suns, I think he did the best he could for his children whom he loved more than anything in the world. But just because you love someone doesn't mean you don't make mistakes, and I think Dean always had a too perfect picture of John (when he was little) in his mind; the Hero that can do no wrong. And when Dean begun to realise that John was human with all the mistakes that humans make, I think- I think Dean had some resentment. This is not to say he doesn't love and respect John, I just think that you can love and respect someone and still feel that the person deserving so much of your love should have done better. So, when Dean lost it during the episode I was clapping my hands and making seal noises because Dean loves John, but also recognises John’s mistakes. While Dean can understand on a rational level why John left him with so many responsibilities, it nothing for Dean emotionally, because children always want their own parents to love them the best, and laying trust and responsibility on one child (usually the oldest) and letting the youngest get away with murder, well that really plays havoc on emotions.
