Supernatural 3x13 Ghostfacers
LOVES! YAY! I LOVE this episode (it is fun and have re-watch values) with little SKULLS of love! I know many fans were disappointed by the lack of Man!PAIN and angst, I, on the other am ridiculously thankful that they didn’t decide to jump into the deep end of DOOM and PAIN. Don’t get me wrong I love the boys in pain but some of my favourite SPN episodes have been the stand-alone episodes; Nightshifter, Provenance, Hell House, Wendigo and Phantom Traveller. So, this, this made me giggle madly. Onto the spoilers.
1. OMFG! Ghostfacers! AHAHAHAHA!
2. They are suck dorks, but OMFG! I know guys in RL that are like that. This is kind of awesome.
3. OMFG! ANOTHER ASIAN CHICK! An Asian Chick who hits guys! YAY! I think I may love Maggie a great deal. I LOVE how she checked Dean out with the camera.
4. Outsider POV of the guys is always awesome.
5. OMFG! Sam and Dean swearing makes me really, really, really HAPPY!
6. The house is creepy.
7. Chisel-chest! AHAHAHAHA! YES! OMFG! YES!
8. I love how Sam and Dean are so angry, intense and just so on the hunt during this episode. And you know I can see why they are so angry; having to look after 5 kids that don’t have fecking clue at what they are doing would drive anyone mad. I mean think back to Asylum, Sam and Dean does not deal well with idiots who purposely put themselves in danger without a damn good reason.
9. The subtitles are awesome, and I love how the camera guy focused on Sam and Dean’s conversations.
10. Sam and the PARTY-HAT! OMFG! I LAUGHED SO HARD IT HURTS!
11. The whole conversation of 2 months to live, and “cancer”, and Dean “shut-up”.
12. Dean and his middle finger.
13. Sam and Dean walking toward each other before smacking the camera away.
14. I –really- like the whole Corbett being gay was handled. Like a lots, and I honestly didn’t see it as fan-service, and if it was I had no problems with it!
15. "It's bizarre how y'all are able to honour Corbett's memory while grossly exploiting the manner of his death, well done."
16. "Gay love will pierce through the veil of death and save the day!"
One of the things I have noticed about the SPN fandom is that the female fanbase is the most productive and the loudest, which is a wonderful thing, but it is always interesting talking to my guy friends who are fans of the show. For one thing, my guy friends has consistently ranked Tall Tales and Hollywood Babylon as their top 2 favourite episodes. Both episodes are not exactly universally loved by the female SPN fandom, and if they are liked they are usually not on the top 2 ranked episodes. I’m not trying to make this into an essay so much as just noting down a point that I’ll probably get back to at a later point.

But I really love this ep alot. What a hilarious bunch of dorks, but really stellar acting - actors acting as characters who can't act. The dialogue and the interaction came across really naturally.
Poor, poor Corbett. Also, does he not look like Sungmin when he smiles? =D

YES! Gods, I loved them to bits. They were just really fun and adorable.
I loved Corbett, and OMFG! You are RIGHT, he does look like Sungmin!
