EEEEE! SHIN! AGON! HIRUMA! And MANY more! ALL in the SAME team! OMFG! It is AWESOME! Agon alone is worth the price of admittance. Gods, every time I read this series I'm reminded why I LOVE it so very much, and why I go out of my way to catch up with the series every year or so. It is because the series is so very awesome.

I'm quite curious about Hiruma's background (as usual) but it is nice to see that he has a father at the least. Yes, a father that is in the shadows even during the light of day, but he does provide an interesting insight into Hiruma. It fascinates me to no end just how much Hiruma really does care for American football. Hell, he is willing to give up $3 million as well as suffer through any form of physical injury just so he can play in the American league because based on his stature he can never compete in proper American football. So, yes, the chance to be noticed, the chance to play in the American league seems to mean everything for him.

It is kind of awesome.

Also, LOVE how far Sena has come since the beginning, how despite the fear he will NOT stand down from confrontation on the field. I adore the boy.

NB: Agon with his dreadlocks shaved off is priceless, well; it is more like his reaction to having to shave off his hair. AHAHAHAHA! Oh Hiruma, you are fucking evil.

I LOVE this series, I LOVE it so very much, and when it ends, because seriously, I can't see it going beyond the current tournament I will be so very sad.

well they could drag it out for a long time like most shonen jump comics.

for example the ducks win: japan wins the youth championship, hiruma and kurita plus any other 3rd year graduate leaving sena to captain the team and recruit more players. devilbats win christmas bowl again, sena joins the nfl has to fight against hiruma.

or

rocky loses the fight: sena sad for awhile, monta cheers him up, captains devilbats, christmas bowl, win youth championship, sena fights whoever he fought with at first youth championship,
