The really awesome thing about the 11th Division is that by appearance alone they are thungs, but by the gods when Kubo Tite starts to reveal more and more about the back-story of the characters and their motivations... OMFG! *wild hand getstures*
I'm currently reading the translated manga as it comes in, and watched some... very good and probably not strictly legit subtitled DVDs a friend brought with her when she visited. I plan to get the anime as well, and the manga as it comes in, and wheeeee! O:>
I was extremely lucky as I picked up Bleach from around volume 5 (in Chinese), and I pretty much kept up with it till volume 17, at which point I switched to the English scans because it was just coming in faster than waiting for my Chinese manga to be mailed.
I have to admit that the 'Bleach' anime makes me angry, thus, I avoid it as much as possible, and only watch the fight scenes (when it finally does happen). The manga makes me giggle like a school girl, and swoon like, like, a half-starved woman who has just been presented with CHEESE CAKE! I LOVE the MANGA!
