Supernatural + Alex Rider, no, not a crossover.

So, the other day I decided that I was ready to watch the last 2 episodes of Supernatural as I felt I was emotionally stable enough to view it without being horribly scarred. I watched 3.15, which I really enjoyed, and then I clicked on 3.16. I was met with a black screen and the message of = the video cannot be rendered. I tried several times with several players only to be retold the same thing over and over again. There were some swearing but mostly I’m going to see this as a sign and not watch the season finale till the beginning of season 4. I may be less traumatised this way.

I’m in the process of making my way through the Alex Rider novels. In relation to Stormbreaker - if only they had followed the novel a bit more closely instead of dumbing down the plot, or attempt to make it look ‘cool’. The book was fun and never lost its pace, and the rest of the characters were so much more interesting and less of a caricature like that of the film version.

That would be awesome. The last episode of season 3 would be nice. However, maybe I should take it as a sign and just let it be till 4th of September.

Are you going to SuperNova? I'm not going to go - I'm really not into seeing an actor for a show with lots of people that have the potential to make me die of embarrassment. Also, I have your vids, they are enough for me.

Personally, I like to meld the novels and the movie into a crazy canon of their own. So I can have Alex's movie!idiocy and the novels' SRS BIZNES. It's a win-win situation.

I'm really enjoying it. I'm about half way through Skeleton Key. Maybe it is just me but I'm not seeing the full on angst ridden victim of a boy that most of fandom seem to write about. Though I"m only half way through the third novel and there quite a bit to go before I catch up with the rest of the fandom.

Also, YES! I picture movie!Alex when I read about him. The boy is just SO pretty! I love the way Yassen looks in the film, though the accent and the quality of the voice threw me. I expected something smoother with less of an accent.

But OMFG! When he and Alex are TOGETHER on the same screen!! Um, yeah, there need to be more fics out there where Alex is 18.

Prettyfer was an inspired piece of casting, I concur. XDDD Yassen's accent is kind of hilariously hot.

Pettyfer is stunning. Though I keep on wanting to type his name as 'Prettyfer for some bizarre reason. Yassen's accent is so ridiculous that it has the potential to be hot.
