General fan-stuff

For the past few days I have been looking really hot. I call it the Art of wearing Complementary Clothing AKA Black is good for you! In addition, the boots adds a couple of inches to me, which doesn’t hurt (though the actual pain it causes is kind of distracting and a bit of a minus to the way I look).

Things of interest: watched the first season of Grey’s Anatomy. I really like this show; intelligent, sexy and hilarious. Furthermore, one of the few shows on television that can actually be considered to be ‘multicultural’, these days it still surprises me to see more than 3 people of colour (playing major roles) on any main stream television series. Which leads to my next question; why the hells haven’t the f-list picked up on the series yet? The series is a thing of fluffy marshmallow and alcohol, i.e., all the good stuff in life.

Have also made [livejournal.com profile] nekomancy watch King Arthur for the slash subtext, ‘cos you know, I’m kind of shallow that way. Besides, it is really hard to ignore the slash subtext, and the cat does agree with me (after a certain point in the film) on some of the, um, obvious signs.

Otherwise, read Eyeshield 21 up to volume 19, and all I can say is; OMFG! AGHHHHH!!! WHYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY?! ARGGGGGGGGGGHHHHH!!! MORE! NEED MORE! WHY ISN’T THERE MORE!? OMFG! ARRRGHHHH! MORE! MORE! MORE! MORE! HIRUMA!!!! *FANGIRL SQUEE*.

I think no one's doing the GA thing because no one's doing the GA thing. Kind of the opposite of the SGA/Smallville effect, where everyone picks up the show because suddenly everyone's writing in it.

Or possibly because you'd have to write het and girlslash or non-white people (which the blog against racism week taught me that people are afraid to write about for some reason(??)) at least part of the time, because all of the white boys are kind of annoying. I mean, dude. What could you write if you only slash boys--Alex/McDreamy? George/Alex? D:

It makes me sad, because Grey's is awesome! (I'm waiting for someone to write me Bailey/George. :D Or Cristina/Bailey!)
