naanima: (hope over tatooine)
For the past few days I have been looking really hot. I call it the Art of wearing Complementary Clothing AKA Black is good for you! In addition, the boots adds a couple of inches to me, which doesn’t hurt (though the actual pain it causes is kind of distracting and a bit of a minus to the way I look).

Things of interest: watched the first season of Grey’s Anatomy. I really like this show; intelligent, sexy and hilarious. Furthermore, one of the few shows on television that can actually be considered to be ‘multicultural’, these days it still surprises me to see more than 3 people of colour (playing major roles) on any main stream television series. Which leads to my next question; why the hells haven’t the f-list picked up on the series yet? The series is a thing of fluffy marshmallow and alcohol, i.e., all the good stuff in life.

Have also made [livejournal.com profile] nekomancy watch King Arthur for the slash subtext, ‘cos you know, I’m kind of shallow that way. Besides, it is really hard to ignore the slash subtext, and the cat does agree with me (after a certain point in the film) on some of the, um, obvious signs.

Otherwise, read Eyeshield 21 up to volume 19, and all I can say is; OMFG! AGHHHHH!!! WHYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY?! ARGGGGGGGGGGHHHHH!!! MORE! NEED MORE! WHY ISN’T THERE MORE!? OMFG! ARRRGHHHH! MORE! MORE! MORE! MORE! HIRUMA!!!! *FANGIRL SQUEE*.

girl gay YES! So true, which makes me happy in all kind of ways ^__^V (Yes, it is all so 'OMFG! They so are sleeping together!) I don't wanna read about Meredith/McDreamy or Addison/McDreamy, I wanna read Cristina and EVERYONE! I don't particularly mind Meredith, I just find it interesting how all the characters on the show screws up at life in similar ways as some of my friends. It is all good entertainment.

I doubt there'd be much gen,

This frustrates me because I want to read about the characters and their attempts at surgery, the loss of patients, the successes, etc., and I find romance relationships tend to fuck it up *pouts*.

But yes! Girlslash! And non-canon het! :D

I really like Girlslash! between chicks who aren't perfect and all 'nurturer' and crap... probably why Cristina appeals to so many women; she's real in her faults and she's not apologetic about it either.

(But isn't it always the polite and misguided wankery that fuck it up. Just look at the Australian government for the polite and misguided actions: Yes, we are just going to take a whole generation of Aboriginal children away from their parents, because it is much better for them. bother us (much) with female or gay characters EXACTLY! The whole "I don't want to screw it up" is just comes across as a really sad excuse. ((Sweetie, the bad authors always write that way, but I understand your pain, it is like reading fics with Chinese characters, and they are all so delicate and small, and oh-so-obedient to their men. My reaction is like; WTF? d00d! All my male relatives are all terrified of their wives because they would so have their balls if they ever even thought about cheating, or mistreating the Mrs. And I think I read something similar in relation to the whole exotic animal motif. It is irritating, and does indeed induce back button mashing.)) I like McDreamy! For all his faults! Hehehe! And the Burke/McDreamy boyslash makes trange sense.

(Bailey/George is kind of awesome... and yet oh-so-wrong). Me too! CRISTINA!! She can so get Addison is she wanted *SMIRK*
