rl, brain dead and the fannish state

It is March. Where has the time gone to?

You think getting more than 6 hours of sleep would make me feel better than I have been, but no, instead I feel like road-kill. Coffee have stopped working – this causes me much sadness and pain. The sense of fatigue has pretty much left me incapable of higher brain-functions. I can't even re-watch of SPN as I keep on falling asleep while watching it. This is wrong especially when there is hot Cassie/Dean action on the screen. Also, half-dozing with IMTOD as background track is a sure way to have some truly bizarre dreams – I think I prefer the suit-wearing reaper over the girl.

Plan for the weekend – get the rest of Grey's Anatomy, from somewhere. I mainlined season 1 and half of season 2 of the series before getting derailed by RL. Lately I have been getting this urge to cry buckets load and to have my my heart ripped out and shredded in tiny pieces, and of course I naturally thought of GA. OK, the fact that I stumbled across a few clips of the series on youtube that me CRY may possibly got me interested in the series again. Beside I'll finally get the chance to see why 90% of the women who watches the show ends up in love with JDM.

ETA: Friending thing - I have come to the realisation that I have pretty much drifted in my fan-ish interest in the past four months or so. If you want - remove me from your f-list, I swear I won't take offence at it. I know that people often feel strange and awkward about de-friending, but seriously it is no biggie especially when what I say no longer holds interest any more.

grey's anatomy and naruto

Grey’s Anatomy continues to make me laugh, cry and scream obscenities at the monitor while tearing my hair out. I love this show, and there is not one character that I hate. OK, it is more like I end up hating one of them for a little bit (they are all arseholes at times) but mostly there is much warm feelings (more like conflicting feelings) about all of them.

The Train crash episode made me cry like a little baby, and while I did expect something to happen I didn’t expect that and once again I am reminded as to why I actually like McDreamy and not, you know, burning an effigy of him. Alex grows on you, like really grows on you, and if I didn’t like him before by the train episode I was all about the Alex-love, though he still is an arse more often than not.

Also, Burke have chemistry with every character on the show. I’m pretty sure he can probably have chemistry with an inanimate object, but that’s not the point, the point is; he’s awesome.

And now for something different, [livejournal.com profile] i_smile, we need to see each other more often... or less.

The Way I’d Love Naruto to End… or the Epic Fic I would write if I had more of an attention span. In a very blurry chronological order. )

For the past few days I have been looking really hot. I call it the Art of wearing Complementary Clothing AKA Black is good for you! In addition, the boots adds a couple of inches to me, which doesn’t hurt (though the actual pain it causes is kind of distracting and a bit of a minus to the way I look).

Things of interest: watched the first season of Grey’s Anatomy. I really like this show; intelligent, sexy and hilarious. Furthermore, one of the few shows on television that can actually be considered to be ‘multicultural’, these days it still surprises me to see more than 3 people of colour (playing major roles) on any main stream television series. Which leads to my next question; why the hells haven’t the f-list picked up on the series yet? The series is a thing of fluffy marshmallow and alcohol, i.e., all the good stuff in life.

Have also made [livejournal.com profile] nekomancy watch King Arthur for the slash subtext, ‘cos you know, I’m kind of shallow that way. Besides, it is really hard to ignore the slash subtext, and the cat does agree with me (after a certain point in the film) on some of the, um, obvious signs.

Otherwise, read Eyeshield 21 up to volume 19, and all I can say is; OMFG! AGHHHHH!!! WHYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY?! ARGGGGGGGGGGHHHHH!!! MORE! NEED MORE! WHY ISN’T THERE MORE!? OMFG! ARRRGHHHH! MORE! MORE! MORE! MORE! HIRUMA!!!! *FANGIRL SQUEE*.
