Advent Children on DVD!!!

Advent Children on DVD is the shiniest of the shiny. The details, the colours, the hues! Kadaj’s bike is GREEN?!

I tried watching it in English; I apologise. No matter how much VAs has improved since the days of Hakkenden I still want to stab my own ears to escape the dubbing. So, um, dubbing make me hurt. And if you don't know what I'm talking about all the better.

ETA: Cloud still has the SCAR on his BROW from the end of the FF7 game! SQUEE!

About two weeks back

white_aster saw AC and she made a comment that struck a chord with me, (mainly because I was thinking the same thing but thought I was being crazy but if she sees it too it must mean it is TRUE!)

( Spoilers for AC; there might be people out there who hasn't seen the film yet and would murder me if I happen to spoil it for them. )

I'm really looking forward to the Advent Children pron/plot/cracked-theory/post-movie fics.

Where are they?

Where are the fics concerned with Cloud's mental stability *snorts*? Where are the fics dealing with Rufus' survival (or for that matter, who saved Tseng)? Where are the fics detailing the Great!Adventures of Reeve and- um, and Scarlet? Where are the fics of Vincent and his Adventures of using the Highly Strange and Deadly Mobile Phone? Where are the pron?

*sniffles at the lack of ac-fic love*

Advent Children with English subs

So, just finished re-watching AC, this time around I got the English subs working, and installed a few patches that made the graphics much smoother. I can watch this movie over and over again.

Tife is so awesome. And I NEED sound track.

Everyone, at least once, need to watch the movie without the subs to distract you from the pure visual experience. So much love.

And next week I get to see Advent Children on the big screen! See, it is days like these that I'm reminded as to why I am still with my anime club ^_^

Advent Children

So, um, self control *shifty-eyed* I was good. Got home around 10:00pm yesterday, went straight to sleep, woke up at 1:00am to do more work on my assignment, went to sleep around 3:40am, woke up at 5 something-ish this morning, and, well, I just had too.

So, at 5:09am this morning I started watching Advent Children, with subtitles.

Japanese subtitles.

And you know what, the language barrier made no difference whatsoever.

Man, I feel for you guys who has never played the game. The in jokes, the details and the sense of SATISFACTION, you will never understand. Sad, sad, sad. OK, off to do assignment.

LIFE and LACK OF ADSL

OK, I’m going to sit here and be content with the fact that it is more and more difficult for me to catch up with fandom *sobs*

On the upside, Advent Children is apparently floating on bittorrent. It is days like these that my rational side is very glad that I don’t have ADSL and RL-stress. If it isn’t for the stress and the lack of connection, my manic-obsessive fangirl would have attempted to download the bloody thing as soon as it came out. Sure I would have been in a state of bliss for the next 48 hours or so but I would have been so dead with Rl commitments.

I have MAD, UNREASONING LOVE for Zaraki Kenpachi! Hell, I LOVE the whole of the 11th Division. They are all such dorks. Mind you, having Zaraki as their captain, and Yachiru as their Vice Captain... well, it does explain the nut-jobs on their team. I'm almost 100% sure that the Hollow that appears at the end of 190 is him. This is going to hurt *huggles Rukia*

There's a deep, needy urge inside of me that want Ganjyu/Hanatarou fanfics. Yes, you heard me, GANJYU/HANATAROU! Hey, it is more plausible than some of the other couples. In addition, am I bad for seeing KomamuraxTousen?

Advent Children is going to be good! My mind went into temporary shut down when one of the villains referred to Cloud as "onii-san." Take a minute and think on that, and I'm not even talking about the implications of the comment. And the ZACK!scene, which I'm pretty damn sure is the flashback scene in the game with him and Cloud in the truck. OMFG! And CID, and YUFFIE, and see me almost cry when the first thing she say is related to Materia(s), and BARRET asking about Marlene! SQUEE! And so MUCH more! This is me screaming my head off, and thanking all the gaming gods that Square, or Enix, or whatever they're calling themselves nowadays, did NOT forget the plot to FF7. HAPPINESS! ♥

And Before Crisis. DAMN YOU! I have no money, and you had to tempt me with the Turks *sobs*
