Have gotten all seven endings of Shadow of Memories (Shadow of Destiny in the U.S.) that include both B endings and the EX ending. Currently sitting on 77% average for all levels (100% for two levels) and know that I'm still MISSING one ending. I know this because the last movie that I unlocked show an extra scene in an epilogue section that I've NEVER seen before and I, supposedly have ALL the endings, beside, my epilogue is at 91%. Have this sneaky suspiscion that I need to get 100% on ALL levels in order to get extra ending. Must do more.
Obsessed me?... Yes, terribly. Eike is cute and blond, and Homunculus kick so much arse.
Moving on, Luc lent me his copy of Order of the Phoenix (thank you Luc *huggles*) I was planning to read it a bit each night. I ended up finishing it in one night. I like it, I like it so much that I went out and bought my own copy the very next day. And this is saying a lots, considering I have never been a fan of the Harry Potter books, I read them because of curiousity, but damn, after this book I think I might have to change my opinion on the whole thing.
I've heard people say that they felt empty and bleak after reading it, I don't think we were reading the same book. I was practically jumping up and down in happiness after reading the novel. I just don't see the bleakness.
Yes Sirius died, it is terrible, I'll probably be in denial until I see the body, but it wasn't that bad, it isn't like Rowling haven't been priming us for death. It happens, children die, people who should've received better in life dies. It is sad, it is horrible, whatever, it is life. Deal with it.
And how else is it bleak? I personally think it is a wonderful thing to see Dumbledore acting human because of compassion. It is reassuring to know that even he can make a mistake because of humanity, becasue of love.
The Wizarding world being racist and betraying Harry's trust. Hello, this have been happening in the past four books, what makes this so new in this book?
Harry being alone because Sirius dies. WTF?! Harry have never been so fucking surrounded by those that truly cares for him. He didn't stand alone at the end, Neville (he so rocks), Hermione, Ron, Luna, and Ginny were with him. They refused to let him go alone and stood by him, and when they were hurt, the cavalry arrived (was I the only one who had the Indiana Jones theme running thru her head when Sirius and the others came to the rescue?). Hell, when he was returning home they ALL came and had a nice chat with the Dursleys. When was the last time he had this much support? This much trust? Yeah sure, crappy deal and all, but damn it, for the first time ever, Harry have more than Ron and Hermoine by him. He have OOTP and the DA and perhaps, more information and trust than ever. Yes, there is responsibility, there is sadness, but he isn't alone anymore! (and yes, Sirius death did affect him deeply, but the fact of the matter is that there are others who cares, and Luna did make it slightly better).
Also, there seem to be a lots of rants and ravings about how Harry is acting all angry and feeling betrayed, how he seem to be a snot nosed teenager. Well, news flash, Harry should be angry, Harry have been betrayed, and Harry is a snot nosed teenager, at least he go out and does things instead of moping... too much.
But I love this book for all the above reasons and so much more. Sirius' family, the part with James, Lupin, Sirius, and Snape when they were younger. DA, they risked so much. Umbridge is the creepiest villain, ever, she's pure evil I tell you. The twins leaving Hogwarts. And perhaps the part that was the coolest, Harry performing crucio on another human being. I just love the book, I love all 766 pages of the book. Love it.
I want to write Harry Potter fan fiction. This is always a sign of just how bad things have gotten.
