You know, I only came to the realization today that I never probably fangirled over GundaSeed, this post shall hopefully remedy that. So, finished re-watching the last eight episodes of Gundam Seed, I always forget the high number of body counts during the end there. The lack of awareness is mainly due to the fact that most of characters don’t even get a last line before they get killed. But damn I really love this series. Things I didn’t notice before but really should have: Not only does Cagalli goes into Seed mode, Lacus does it as well in the second last episode (or the last). Gods, I ♥ Lacus Clyne so much, whenever she's being all mature and leader-like I go into complete fangirl-mode, she’s just so cool.

Kira and Cagalli are definitely siblings; both of them only notice hints when the hints are the size of a capital ship.

Athrun get hurts a lot. He also has Father Issues. And he likes to self-destruct his suits, not that I complaining or anything. It leads to Plot and Angst.

Yzak is cool. Dearka might just possibly be cooler.

I really liked Nartele.

Fallay: Interesting character; I went from indifference to pity. An improvement.

Kira is a cool hero. Despite the Zen-creep factor.

And Lacus Clyne is God. This cannot be repeated enough.

GundamSEED continues to make me a very happy person. I fangirl! Lakushu is so cool. My adoration of her went through the roof when she told Kruutze to fuck off stand-down. And Athrun's expression as she made the statement, OMFG! That is so awe I see on his face. AND, Athrun and Kagari (Cagari?) are the CUTE! I SHIP them! Kira is a surprisingly decisive main character, I'm still impressed at how fast he gets over things and be the action-man. In addition, Andrew Bartfield is sooo cool *__*

Happy fan here. Now I need to wait for a week or so to watch the rest of the series (I'm on episdoe 25!)

So, I finally got around to watching Gundam SEED. This can only end in tears. I know my Gundam series. They will make me hate characters, love characters, get terribly involved in their lives and their relationships, and just when there might be a silver lining, they will kill my favourite character, make emotional wrecks out of the ones I like (deep, dark, black holes of soul-sucking depression). But of course, as I have said, survival instincts of a lemming here, so, watch me let Gundam SEED eat my life, hurt my brain, and make me scream in pain.

In addition, the seiyuu cast for Gundam SEED hurtss usssss. Kira channels Goku at the weirdest time (because he sure ain't channeling Kazuma), Athrun is so unlike Hakkai (as it should be but my brain have been playing connect the dots, and Ishida Akira as Hakkai seem to come on top every single time), that it takes me a few seconds for my brain to switch track. Also, Seki Toshihiko and Koyasu Takehito are so over-powering that my brain get swamped with characters they have played before. Though I admit I giggle every time Raww Le Kleuze opens his mouth. It is a trained reaction. Tomokazu Seki as Yzak Jule is just priceless, and Kotono Mitsuishi is pretty much spot on as always (HARO? HARO?!).
