Jensen Ackles on Good News Week.

AHAHAHAHAHAHA!

OMFG! Channel Ten does beautifully in its promotions. AHAHAHAHA!

It is good to see Good News Week back on, but is it just me or does it seem, um, slightly off? From my memory of the show (years back) it was awesome, and tonight, beside Jensen Ackles, it was kind of meh.

So, Supernatural (WIASNB) will be on television in 20 minutes or so, followed IMMEDIATELY by Torchwood! Channel Ten, I'm really loving you here! Even if you do keep on broadcasting Big Brother. It is down right bizarre to have a BBC series being shown on commercial television, usually it is the ABC or SBS, but nope, Channel Ten managed to get the rights to Torchwood. Oh gods, I hope they also pick up season 2 and 3 of Doctor Who. Channel Ten, be the television whore that you are MEANT to be!

I just saw the end of Croatoan on channel Ten.

W.T.F?! I mean, W.T.F?! They fucking told the SECRET! during the PREVIEW!, and it was a shitty preview. Not fucking happy. I am disappointed.

I love Channel Ten (this is so strange)

For those of my f-list who doesn't live in Australia - there is a television network called Channel Ten, whom, in the past year or so have been whoring their shows and programmes with a sense of style that is truly awe-inspiring. They pick up shows that have been abandoned by other networks ('Smallville') and put it on a prime-time slot, and it is just all kind of cool (in a complete whoring consumerism kind of way). Anyways, for one of their marketing campaigns they get all the main stars from the shows they have on their network to push a little dot on the screen. Look, I know it sounds really dumb, but dude, to see your favourite star/character point at a dot on your television screen while looking at you - um, yeah *happy noises*.

Getting to the point - Channel Ten FINALLY got the Supernatural stars to point at the dot! Dean-Jensen has pointed at a dot, and APPARENTLY JARED has also TOUCHED the dot! While I have seen the Dean-Jensen promo I have NOT seen the Sam-JARED promo! WHERE IS IT? Also, why the hell wasn't it shown while they screened IMToD on Monday night, that's where I saw the Jensen promo (and it was such a nice surprise that I squeed!). I have FAITH in the SPN fandom to get the promo and the caps done in one or two days (don’t fail me).

Henry Jenkins talking about Supernatural. Yay! I'm not sure if I agree with him on every points, but wow, what a positive reaction to the show (a lots like my own, except you know, more Dean-love!)

Positive blogging is all the good for the show - more viewers, higher ratings and hopefully another 2 or 3 seasons to the show. I can't handle losing another one of my shows - with the way Angel, Farscape, and the the really unlucky shows like Brimstone and Firefly that has been canceled in the past, I just have this fear for all the shows I get attached to.

ETA: For the Australian portion of my f-list (plugging is good) - Channel 10, 8:30PM, tonight (Monday).

Channel Ten and their ability to whore it.

video hits

On the one hand - the Network will bring the show back, thus, more international ratings, which in turn will hopefully mean a season 3 for Supernatural, this makes me happy. On the other hand - it is blatant whoring by Channel Ten through a music program that I highly dislike.

I feel conflicted.
