So, I have been reading/watching everything related to Super Junior... SHUTUP
perseid! Anyways, as a result I have begun to read about the whole 'fan' culture in Asia, of course this is more related with the Korean fans, but since the suicide of a father a few weeks ago because of Andy Lau, the whole Asian fan-phenomenon is mind boggling. Anyways, apparently a Korean fan put chewed bubblegum in HanKyung’s mouth (one of Super Junior’s member), it is kind of insane. Also, I'm not even sure what to say about the anti-fans; making death threats, poisoning a pop-star, and admitting to sabotaging a vehicle that caused a major accident is just insane.
In conclusion - the Western fans have nothing on the Korean fans.

I really like Raelle Tucker's episodes - I still remember people dissing CSPWD when it first aired, but it was one of my fav episodes during early season 2. Then there was the backlash to Hunted, and now that Raelle Tucker is leaving, the reaction to her writing seem to have changed to one of 'OH NOES! Don't leave! We LOVE YOU!'.

And once more the Harry Potter fandom rears its ugly head when it comes to the wank. But honestly, I thought the whole Cassie Claire thing was dead and buried. Is it really unfashionable of me to say that I still don’t know what the whole issue was over Cassie Claire? I liked her fics (from what I remember of it, I haven’t read anything by her for years now). It seems to me that fandom, like all things that reach a certain size, tend to feed onto itself… or maybe it is just me. Either way, this is highly amusing *snicker*
Fandom has gone mad.
