Saw the Crisis Core ending.

OMFG! SQUAREENIX! WHY DO YOU DO THIS TO ME?! WHY?! THERE IS ONLY SO MUCH TRAUMA I CAN TAKE. Just STOP dragging my HEART THROUGH THE MUD!

*CRIES*.

I don't think I can play the game, I- just can't. I don't think I can handle the whole getting to know Zack anymore only to have him- *wild hand gestures*. This is what happens when FF7 is your first RPG, you get horribly attached to it, and all additional canon makes you its bitch. All I want is for them to be happy, which is just never going to happen with the way the story played out. Also, no wonder Cloud is screwed in the head, and Zack is awesome, and NO, just not going to play the game. Maybe.

Found out how Dirge of Cerberus ends.

spoilers here, I mean really, really, really important spoilers that makes things much interesting that possibly encompasses Aeris )

In conclusion; I don’t like Lucrecia, Vincent is a dork, and I need to see the Gackt clip because it is Gackt.

I have a gold chocobo! MWahahaha! It only took me over a million gil and hours of my life but it doesn't matter for I have a gender confused gold chocobo named Misara (I wanted to spell it with 'th' unfortunately I had limited space *woe*.) Replaying FF7 is bringing me much joy and crack of the good kind. It is also making me crave caffeine & sugar so that I may continue with the playing, unfortunately there is work and I need to sleep *sad*.

Still replaying FF7, just got the flashback scene about Zack in the Lab under the Shinra mansion. There were a lots of things that I had forgotten from the initial play of the game, and wow, how I ♥ Zack so very much.

Thank you square-enix for giving him a happy-ish ending in Advent Children.

Just finished the first disk of Final Fantasy VII, feeling kind of drained. Quite amazed at how much of Aerith’s last moments I do actually remember from years back. Adored the girl, still adore her. Now, all I can think about is the Aerith and Cloud scenes that will be in Advent Children. About three minutes worth of FMV that’s going to break my heart and make me cry like a baby.

I can’t remember who, but someone at one point asked me to explain FF7 to them… and well, let’s just say I floundered for several moments before my brain went into shut down mode. It is just extremely difficult to condense over 100+ hours of my life into a 10 minutes explanation (even if the plot can be summed up in less than 10mins). There is just no chance of me being concise; I want to talk about every single character in great detail, their little idiosyncratics that makes me giggle, their varied fighting styles, their unique speech patterns, and their actions. I want to talk about all the places that our heroes had to travel to in order to save the day, I want to talk about the different materia, the combat system, the relationships between the characters, and so much more. Conclusion; there’s just no way to do that without confusing someone who has never played the game before.

I love this game, and now I await for Advent Children, because it will be good I can so do denial if need be.

Off to sleep.

...

I don't go online for over 60 hours and I find myself incapable of catching up to email/lj/etc. The back log is truly impressive. Don't have enough brain power to form logical replies to people. Being gaming, sleeping, and re-playing FF7. Had forgotten just how badly Sephiroth got screwed over (mind-fuck comes pretty close.)

Good Things
  • Reno-love is still alive and kicking.

  • Rufus' introduction/entrance makes an impact (thought I might have remembered wrong).

  • The Corel bit bores me to tears (haven't changed, but is a good point to level and get gil).

  • Jenova is strangely pretty. Did not remember this at all.

  • Mog-Game is GOD!

  • Overall; on re-play ff7 is much easier and still enjoyable. Will finish it before Advent Children is released.

    Off to sleep.

    replaing FF7 and re-reading PoT

    Replaying FF7. Love FF7.

Had forgotten that one of the major themes to the game was of people watching the world pass by, observing the joys and the pains of others, not caring enough to help.

Beside airships, trains seem to be a big thing in FF7 (and 8).

Need sleep. Want to keep on playing. Just reached level 66 of Shinra building (love this part).

Can't wait for Advent Children. Everything in 3D. All the characters, all the places. And please GOD let there by flashback scenes, because yes, I am masochistic enough in wanting to see Aerith's death in FULL 3D glory. I will cry, I will rage, but I will squee with all the emotional force I can.

Now for PoT-manga thoughts (in no particular order). Specifically the Rikkai matches.

    1. Jiroh is such a fangirl, the cute-bouncy sort not the stalker-maniac sort (though I might be wrong here).

    2. Rikkai is cool. Hands down, no questions asked.

    3. Sanada's hat is a hat of dorkiness that is a crime against humanity.

    4. Sanda is cool because despite the hat-of-dorkiness the boy put the fear of God into the mass.

    5. Inui is KEWL! Bow before Inui!

    6. Thank the gods that Renji finally got a better hair cut. Gakuto is not the way to go.

    7. Atobe. In the Hyotei uniform. In that pose. Is hot.

    8. Niou and Yagyuu's relationship is beyond anything I have seen. Precisely because they are not related.

    9. Yukimura is wow.

    10. Fuji is a God. That, or the Zen Master of All Zen Masters.

    11. Kirihara is a brat prone to demon possession. But a adorable brat.

    12. Seigaku & Rikkai has gone beyond the current level of human evolution.

    13. I want to see Konomi-sensei do ShounenFight manga! (a proper Samurai drama would be highly appreciated). As [livejournal.com profile] sesame_seed said, just use the PoT cast. Transpose the characters into the new fighting series, and call it Prince of Blades. I would buy the manga.
