spn_j2_bigbang update: Over the 2000 words mark, have plotted out 15 scenes and I now know how it is going to end. Let’s all hope I can maintain the momentum and finish it. I'm still thinking over the whole tennis thing. Yes, still.

louiselux sum up the whole reason why I'm still mulling over the match perfectly.I'm still not over the tennis dramas of yesterday, not really. It keeps ringing around my head and I keep thinking about Roger - there is a person with so many expectations heaped on him, so many that I feel like his life is all bent out of shape from the vast pressure of them. Part of the joy of watching someone achieve at the highest level is that they are making a rare and almost impossible dream come true for themselves and for everyone watching. Watching them fail to do that is-- well, it is heartbreaking.
Also, still haven’t seen the new SPN episode yet.
spn_j2_bigbang. Trust me, I need as much time as possible since I write at a snail's pace (on average; 200 words every 3 days). There has been much head banging on my part; plot layout led me to the realisation that I was lacking internal consistency and logic, which inevitably made me run screaming to nekomancy. The first wall appears to have been solved, I just need to keep on track, and I want to produce something worth mentioning (editing) by the end of February.People, this whole thing requires so much thinking and plotting.
Not liking someone in fandom and lj means you can ignore them, bitch about them to your friends or hell makes other fandom related drama. You do not go out there and purposely harm them, by harming her relationship with her family.
So, fuck you and your friends who decided it was a brilliantly idea, I hope they find you and let fandom finish you off.
I'm kind of terrified right about now. Like really, really, really terrified. My betas are in order, and I shall attempt to complete my bigbang fic. I have

Another pleasant surprise was that S.E. Hinton, the author of The Outsiders and Rumble Fish, was hanging out with the boys as well. She is a huge Supernatural fan and asked Eric Kripke one day if she could pay a visit to the set, so he invited her out to Vancouver for a couple of days. She told me that she got into the show because she has an interest in paranormal stories, but then just fell in love with it because of the excellent stories and the mix of humor, drama and thrills and chills. Imagine having a fan girl moment with a world-famous novelist!

Spent most of yesterday sleeping, throwing up, and editing SPN screen-caps because I’m dedicated, OK? I will probably post the caps up sometime tomorrow morning. Also, I have so MUCH SPN fandom love this week, I don’t know why I just suddenly want to HUGGLE and SHARE and THINK about nothing but SPN.
ETA: Supernatural has been nominated for a Saturn Television Award. It is in the running with;

- TERMINATOR: THE SARAH CONNOR CHRONICLES (FOX)

About bloody time, they have only ignored Supernatural for the past 2 years running. To be fair Terminator is probably the better series, but by the gods, in my fangirl heart I WANT Supernatural to win this year because Kripke and the crew deserve to win the bloody thing.

Also, the posts on Time to post little snippets of unfinished stories, makes me smile with much anticipation of epic fics to read in the future. Hehehe.

promote_spn. One of the biggest problems with most spn fans on livejournal is that we tend to avoid public forums of any sort. I can understand the feeling - forums makes me want to run for the hills. However, if we want to see another season of Supernatural we need to make sure CW is aware of the fact that Supernatural does have a huge and highly supportive fan base. In other word - we need to whore our show. I need this show to be renewed for a third season. I have not been so involved with a series in- huh, I don't think I have ever been this involved in a television show, well, not to the point where I'm actively attempting to get the show renewed.
ETA: Also, sign the petition for another season of Supernatural. The target goal is 50,000 signatures.
Still at work, need to finish a few more things, then it is off I go to home. Then back to work tomorrow - oh Saturdays, how I am going to miss you.

Christmas today was fantastic: I am full and so very content with the world.
I have finally managed to get a copy of Carry On Wayward Son - Kansas. I love it when a new series/fandom can make me listen/read/watch new things just because they manage to make it sound appealing, and it’s doubly awesome when I discover that they were right. That is, I'm currently listening to Creedence Clearwater Revival.
The point is: I ♥ Supernatural, both the series and the fandom.
