I'm still thinking over the whole tennis thing. Yes, still.
I'm still not over the tennis dramas of yesterday, not really. It keeps ringing around my head and I keep thinking about Roger - there is a person with so many expectations heaped on him, so many that I feel like his life is all bent out of shape from the vast pressure of them. Part of the joy of watching someone achieve at the highest level is that they are making a rare and almost impossible dream come true for themselves and for everyone watching. Watching them fail to do that is-- well, it is heartbreaking.
Also, still haven’t seen the new SPN episode yet.
So, I have started working on my
spn_j2_bigbang. Trust me, I need as much time as possible since I write at a snail's pace (on average; 200 words every 3 days). There has been much head banging on my part; plot layout led me to the realisation that I was lacking internal consistency and logic, which inevitably made me run screaming to
nekomancy. The first wall appears to have been solved, I just need to keep on track, and I want to produce something worth mentioning (editing) by the end of February.
People, this whole thing requires so much thinking and plotting.

We are fans, we can love, bitch and generally make lots of noises at each other, but the fundamental rule, the one that everyone understands and sticks to is that fans do not out other fans. I am honestly shocked and disgusted at what has happened.
Not liking someone in fandom and lj means you can ignore them, bitch about them to your friends or hell makes other fandom related drama. You do not go out there and purposely harm them, by harming her relationship with her family.
So, fuck you and your friends who decided it was a brilliantly idea, I hope they find you and let fandom finish you off.

Um, yeah.

I'm kind of terrified right about now. Like really, really, really terrified. My betas are in order, and I shall attempt to complete my bigbang fic. I have
perseid and
nekomancy to crack the whip for me if I slide.
spn_j2_bigbang, I NEED to succeed.
ETA: OMFG! 20,000 words is a lot, 20,000 words that doesn't suck is going be worse. IF we go by the 20/80 rule it meas I'll need to write 100,000 words in order to produce 20,000 good words. WHAT?! OMFG!

( WHY THIS WOULD BE AWESOME )
GUYS! GUYS! THIS IS GOING TO BE AWESOME! I WANT THIS TO BE REAL!
KRIPKE! YOU ARE AWESOME! I don't even care if this is real or not.

Jared and Jensen live together and carpool to work every day. They like to rib each other about who is lazier than whom in the morning, and it's very cute.
*BREATHES INTO BAG*.
TINHATS! OMFG! UNICORNS! RAINBOWS! AND PINK SPARKLES!
TODAY WE WIN THE WORLD!!!!!
I don't care if this get retracted later on. The whole thing have made my day.
ETA 1: From the article:
Another pleasant surprise was that S.E. Hinton, the author of The Outsiders and Rumble Fish, was hanging out with the boys as well. She is a huge Supernatural fan and asked Eric Kripke one day if she could pay a visit to the set, so he invited her out to Vancouver for a couple of days. She told me that she got into the show because she has an interest in paranormal stories, but then just fell in love with it because of the excellent stories and the mix of humor, drama and thrills and chills. Imagine having a fan girl moment with a world-famous novelist!
EEEE!

EEE! New SPN episode is/will be airing in the US today, and then I can watch it tomorrow morning (Australian download capability – crap). YAY! I am really looking forward to this episode; as a horror movie junkie (NOT slasher genera) I am over the moon about this episode! HEHEHEHEHE!
Spent most of yesterday sleeping, throwing up, and editing SPN screen-caps because I’m dedicated, OK? I will probably post the caps up sometime tomorrow morning. Also, I have so MUCH SPN fandom love this week, I don’t know why I just suddenly want to HUGGLE and SHARE and THINK about nothing but SPN.
ETA: Supernatural has been nominated for a Saturn Television Award. It is in the running with;
About bloody time, they have only ignored Supernatural for the past 2 years running. To be fair Terminator is probably the better series, but by the gods, in my fangirl heart I WANT Supernatural to win this year because Kripke and the crew deserve to win the bloody thing.

Alive!
spn_harlequin is the bestest thing, EVER!
nekomancy, you will enjoy this.
I have opened a Facebook account, I'm still of two minds about it but we'll see. RL ppl, please don't provide a link between my lj and my Facebook account, thanks!
Also, the posts on Time to post little snippets of unfinished stories, makes me smile with much anticipation of epic fics to read in the future. Hehehe.
ETA:
nyxmidnight educate the mass on what an uke is in relation to Supernatural. I'm just glad I have so far avoided the type of fics she has obviously stumbled upon.

I missed the great LJ break-down. Yay?
SPN fandom is awesome.
blue_soaring meets Jared and Jensen,
stele3 wrote The World's a Small Child in the Dark; the definitive Sam & Dean slash fic for me, and Kripke soothes casting-fears. Why isn’t it October yet?
I bought Kingdom Hearts 2; I really need to find time to play it and the other 5 or 6 games that have accumulated.

I really like Raelle Tucker's episodes - I still remember people dissing CSPWD when it first aired, but it was one of my fav episodes during early season 2. Then there was the backlash to Hunted, and now that Raelle Tucker is leaving, the reaction to her writing seem to have changed to one of 'OH NOES! Don't leave! We LOVE YOU!'.
Fandom is strange.

I have discovered

spnfic_podcast. The whole of Of Bastard Saints is up in audio format here. My car-sickness has been kicking my ass lately, so finding these communities are awesome. *Floats away*.

OK - I'm over the angst.
Jensen Ackles in Ten Inch Hero... I have got nothing. Just nothing. Though the blue is kind of a nice shade - reminds me of Illyria, the sexiest smurf ever to have walked the earth. It is probably better if you don't get the reference.
Also, Proof That Fangirls Are Dirty. Yes, in the pr0n reading and multi-tasking kind of way. I ♥ the SPN fandom so very much.

Supernatural fandom - I &hearts you! Never change. We have the good crack.
I'm in the process of making more postcards forspn_secretpost based on photos I have taken. It is really strange but I am incapable of creating slashy SPN postcards, not even ones with subtext, just not happening. I do get urges to make postcards from Jess and Mary though. It is got to the point that I have mapped a series of postcards, from Mary and Jess, all leading up to a final secret. It is just so hard to take photos that will fit the secrets.

Supernatural is the best fandom ever - the fans go out of their ways to help each other, the cast and crew of the show appreciate us. Check this out. I wish I had remembered to post my card whenspn_postcards had set the deadline, will remember to do so next time. It is just awesome that they do things like this to show their appreciation of the fans support, not every show is like this. Also, Jared's lunch is all sorts of awesome.

VOTE for the renewal of Supernatural (need to be a season 3) at the CW lounge. As a side note - over 700 votes, we are so awesome.
Also, join
promote_spn. One of the biggest problems with most spn fans on livejournal is that we tend to avoid public forums of any sort. I can understand the feeling - forums makes me want to run for the hills. However, if we want to see another season of Supernatural we need to make sure CW is aware of the fact that Supernatural does have a huge and highly supportive fan base. In other word - we need to whore our show.
I need this show to be renewed for a third season. I have not been so involved with a series in- huh, I don't think I have ever been this involved in a television show, well, not to the point where I'm actively attempting to get the show renewed.
ETA: Also, sign the petition for another season of Supernatural. The target goal is 50,000 signatures.

There is nothing better than seeing part of your friend-list explodes in squeeing and hissing at the same time. I LOVE the Supernatural fandom, and I REALLY want to watch the new episode. If I can get Bittorrent working before tomorrow I'm so downloading it, and be damned the dial-up speed. I need to see the episode, and then I can write long, drawn out meta about the Winchesters, and the concept of fate versus free will in SPN. But first I NEED to see this episode.
Still at work, need to finish a few more things, then it is off I go to home. Then back to work tomorrow - oh Saturdays, how I am going to miss you.

Youtube is awesome.
Christmas today was fantastic: I am full and so very content with the world.
I have finally managed to get a copy of Carry On Wayward Son - Kansas. I love it when a new series/fandom can make me listen/read/watch new things just because they manage to make it sound appealing, and it’s doubly awesome when I discover that they were right. That is, I'm currently listening to Creedence Clearwater Revival.
The point is: I ♥ Supernatural, both the series and the fandom.

RL crisis over, or at the very least I’ve achieved a level of acceptance over the shit that I’m calm enough not to snap.
I ♥ the Supernatural fandom. LOVE it to tiny little fangirl bits. This love is brought to you by the discovery of the Slash Anthology produced by
moveablehistory. It is perfect, just so perfect, and I can bring it with me wherever I go (reading on the train! Yes, I may have a hardcopy with me.) My mind breaks at the time and effort that must have gone into the whole endeavour, it is just amazing.
I ♥ this fandom!
