There is nothing as awesome as re-watching American Idol season 8, and watching Adam Lambert strut down those red stairs in that white suit of his, and just completely melting my brain singing Feeling Good. OMFG! He is just so amazing. I WANT HIS NEW ALBUM NOW!

Mainlined approx 20 episodes worth of American Idol season 8. Just O.M.F.G. Adam Lambert sung Led Zeppelin on American Idol. There were leather, studs, and so much more, and I’m just O.M.F.G. when are they allowed to produce their OWN albums?! Also, why does Danny Gokey go from relatively nice bloke to EVIL VILLAIN OF DOOM?! I mean I’ll be happily watching the show, enjoying Gokey’s music and suddenly be encountered by a look of SMUG EVIL DOOM on his FACE. I am CONFUSED! All I know is that he FREAKS me out at times. Allison is just WOW, the girl’s voice just blow me away, she is 17? 17! Just WOW. She and Adam NEED to record a duet together, just NEED it NOW! Kris is ADORABLE, he has a lovely voice, he will do amazing things, but my heart is with ADAM & ALLISON! (Yes, I can admit that Adam&Kris are adorable in their bromance, and I’ll be perfectly happy to read fics about them, but EEEE! Kris’ wife is adorable, hell, the two of them together is just sugar-induced pink clouds of AWESOME!)

ETA: My parents think Adam have the bestest voice, ever! They don't particularly like his type of music, but they LOVE his voice, they think they are the most TALENTED ever! YES! I LOVE IT when they AGREE WITH ME!

Life is busy, fandom revolves around me catching up to ATWT (NUKE!!!!), and an obscene amount of reality talent shows. Adam Lambert of American Idol and Britain’s Got Talents pretty much ate my brain, with the rest of my free time dedicated to reading Star Trek fics. I have tagged many ST:XI fics on my delicious account. I’m trying to sort out a third viewing of the film. In fact I would like to take the time to talk about ( something seperis said hit the nail on what I haven’t been able to verbalise till she did ).

In short, this fandom is awesome! And look! New desktop!

So, American Idol... OMFG! ADAM LAMBERT! OMFG! HOW AWESOME IS HE?! And he DIDN'T win?! WTF?! I mean WTF?! The guy made Ring of Fire hot like burning, and OMFG! He performed with KISS and QUEEN! OK, I know my taste in music differs from most of the population, but seriously this guy has so much talent, just wow. (OK, fine, I'm also extremely biased when it comes to liking rock).

Also, second viewing of Star Trek happened, and the film is still awesome!
