SASUKE!

naanima: ([Naruto] Sasuke)
I don't care what all the naysayers say about you, for you have always been my little emo baby. You had the most phenomenal character growth, and I hope to all the manga gods (and Kishimoto) that you will end the series as the Kage of your own Village. You know, the Village of the Powerful and Clinically Insane. If you go back to Knonoha as one of its Shinobi or a prisoner I shall FOREVER deny the existence of Naruto. I rather you die a GLORIOUS death than return to Konoha. Actually, I would only accept Sasuke returning to Konoha if it happens under one scenario – talked about under the cut.

Wikipedia is awesome )

I can't get over how shounen manga is becoming awesome again.

So, what do I do when I take a two-hour break from studying? I write Sasuke-fic because I seriously adore the boy. [livejournal.com profile] i_smile beta’d this (LOVE her, she had to edit my fic and put up with my over abuse of SEMI COLONS), so all MISTAKES here are MINE.

Fandom: Naruto
Title: Untitled Sasuke Fic number 2
Word: 844
Summary: Sasuke, the highlights of his life, and the path one choose.
Spoliers: Spoilers up to chapter 307

Sasuke's earliest memories... )

C&C welcome and needed, and I kind curious about what people think of this.

I knew ‘Naruto’ was going to be interesting again once Sasuke comes back in his full glory. So glad it is the case, having some awesome discussions about Sasuke, Orochimaru and future possibilities over at [livejournal.com profile] rayemars’s. Just wanted to proclaim much LOVE for Sasuke, and Orochimaru’s, um, skills at handling prickly teenagers amazes me greatly.

Going to sleep yo.

Naruto question

'Cos this has been in my head for a very loooooog time.

Does Kishimoto, at any point, in the manga or otherwise, explicitly state that Sasuke went off to follow Orochimaru. I'm not talking about implied comments, or the mass fandom agreement, I'm talking about textual evidence. This is important, because honest to god, I can't for the life of me remember it being said, in the text, that Sasuke followed Orochimaru.

And if it was mentioned, point me to the issue, or at least tell me who said it, and what was said.

boohoo + NINJA!Pirates!!

naanima: (stupid = sad)
Anti-Sasuke feelings makes me all GrrGrr (mindless gaara and neji love makes me want to pull my hair out, but only in context with the anti-sasuke thing. As far as I'm concerned the latter two are about the same level on the Ol' Bastard scale as Sasuke (adore them for those reasons). People are willing to give a mass-murderer and a down-right prick second chances but nooooo second chances for the kid whose family got massacred by the person he loves most in the world. No double standards at all. All sarcasm meant). Will shut up now (Teh ICON speaks for ME!), will be polite and nice and not argue because I tend to get too invovled. YES! BE HAPPY! SPREAD the JOY! Read MORE gay PRON! PRETEND the Maths exam is NOT going to happen this week so ded! Join the NINJA!Pirates!!! Seriously, whose with me?!! Let's ALL join the NINJA!Pirates! We get those specky hats, a parrot AND all the COOL NINJA stuff! YAY!

UCHIHA SASUKE LOVE!!! PROUD in my SUPPORT!!! MWAHAHAHAHABWAHAHAHAHA! (Have been surviving on coffee and ice cream.)

For those who are interested, (and because lj won’t let me post this many words in one comment): Reply to [livejournal.com profile] i_smile’s reply/Sasuke babble on my Sasuke blah.

the continuation of the Sasuke debate. )

This is fun. [livejournal.com profile] i_smile, I think we’ve wracked up over 4000 words between us on this topic.

Where I talk about Sasuke

naanima: (ARGH!!)
A reply to [livejournal.com profile] i_smile’s comment to my blah about father issues. Except we somehow got on the topic of Sasuke, and I honestly don’t know how it got to this size, so, I post it here. And yeah -_- Go read her Sasuke discussion.

My reply. Or where I really don’t go anywhere except maybe prove I really like Sasuke )

I still have my Sasuke-angst icon. MWAHAHAHA!

[[livejournal.com profile] i_smile, I'll reply to you tomorrow. Brain hurt. Need to do work.]

Still awake. Can't sleep. Have unfinished fic/drabble.

NARUTO
TITLE: Mandatory Training
STATUS: WIP. Unlikely to be finished >_>
WARNING: None really.
SUMMARY/SPOILERS: After Sasuke's Grand Exit *koffs* He make some wrong turns.

Despite what people may think at the present moment Sasuke was not an idiot. )

c&c.
naanima: (what is this)
Hmm, this issue bring up some really interesting points about the Sharingan. I'm still under the firm belief that the Magenkyou can only be performed when an individual has two working Sharingan eyes and is an Uchiha. The former because the Magenkyou seem to relate to how many dots each Sharingan eye can generate the latter because I doubt someone who is not a Uchiha can survive the output of Chakra to the Sharingan. The Uchiha, for lack of a better word, seem to be made to wield the Sharingan. Their bodies (or at least their eyes) seem to be able to stand the generated Chakra without too many detriments (unlike Kakashi whose body need much rest after using the Sharingan. Sasuke had used it for much longer periods of time without needing prolonged bed rest.) Though this brings up the interesting point of Itachi, I'm sure at on point someone made the remark that using the Sharingan (or was it the Magenkyou?) plays havoc on ones health.

See, this is when I wish I know more about genetics.

Being up since 6:30am. Suffering from a slight hangover. Had another beer after the first two without drinking any water. Not a smart move.

Paid bills, did official business, went to the library.

Flipped through the Dictionary of Psychology. Slightly amazed at how much I actually remember, very disturbed by the thickness of the thing. It's probably capable of giving someone a concussion if used as a weapon.

Skimmed through Domu, again. Got volume three of Akira out. I'm currently in awe of Katsuhiro Otomo. The paneling! The paneling! His composition is also damn impressive and amazing. I drool over his ability to do perspectives.

I want to eat his brain.

Also, during my tipsy-ness yesterday I came to the realisation that Sasuke & Naruto is like my/(personal) shounen/(fanon) answer/(cure) to the whole Subaru & Seishirou thing.

This was followed immediately by seeing parallels between Days of our Lives and Naruto, with Sasuke as Malena (she was taken by evil spirit at one point, where her eyes went all funky red), Sakura as the blonde chick who was married to John and then went all obsessive and evil, Lee as Jack... and at that point my brain decided to shut down.

No, I'm not going to explain that in-depth. My brain hurt enough as it is.
