Sorry about the not replying to emails, lj comments, and sms (sorry [livejournal.com profile] nekomancy) have been studying for mathematical economics (40+ hours). Had the exam this morning (last one), and will attempt to get back to everyone sometime soon (need to catch up on sleep, food, and beer).

I loved you, so I drew these tides of men into my hands
and wrote my will across the sky in stars
to earn you freedom, the seven pillared worthy house,
your eyes might be shining for me
when we came.

Epigraph, The Seven Pillared Wisdom (1926) and with dedication 'To S.A.'

__________

All men dream: but not equally. Those who dream by night in the dusty recesses of their minds wake in the day to find that it was vanity; but the dreamers of the day are dangerous men, for they may act their dream with open eyes, and make it possible. This I did.

An elusive qoutation from from 'Chapter 1' of The Seven Pillared Wisdom that was originally suppressed from its first edition. Included in the 'Introductory Chapter.'
