LOVES! YAY! I LOVE this episode (it is fun and have re-watch values) with little SKULLS of love! I know many fans were disappointed by the lack of Man!PAIN and angst, I, on the other am ridiculously thankful that they didn’t decide to jump into the deep end of DOOM and PAIN. Don’t get me wrong I love the boys in pain but some of my favourite SPN episodes have been the stand-alone episodes; Nightshifter, Provenance, Hell House, Wendigo and Phantom Traveller. So, this, this made me giggle madly. Onto the spoilers.

One of the things I have noticed about the SPN fandom is that the female fanbase is the most productive and the loudest, which is a wonderful thing, but it is always interesting talking to my guy friends who are fans of the show. For one thing, my guy friends has consistently ranked Tall Tales and Hollywood Babylon as their top 2 favourite episodes. Both episodes are not exactly universally loved by the female SPN fandom, and if they are liked they are usually not on the top 2 ranked episodes. I’m not trying to make this into an essay so much as just noting down a point that I’ll probably get back to at a later point.
