My favourite quote of the episode (and there were many to choose from):

Master: The drums, the drums, the drums, the never-ending drum beats. Open me you human fool, open the light and summon me and receive my majesty.

The amount of running in this episode is awesome and hilarious. I love the fact that David Tennant runs faster than John Barrowman.

Jack - gleeful, helpful and so damn bitchy at times. Loves! As far as I'm concerned, he is owed as much bitchiness as he wants. The Doctor abandoned him.

Before I get into the major quoting (so much quoting), I want to talk about the Doctor and Jack's interaction in this episode. In short - LOVES. In more details: Jack has had over a century to think about the reasons the Doctor abandoned him on the satellite. He must have arrived at his own understanding, that allowed him to meet the Doctor with so very little anger, and angst (you have idea ho happy I am that there isn't an over the top amount of angst on their first meeting).

D *To Martha and Jack*: You two, we are at the end of the universe *some sort of weird disdainful sound*. At the edge of knowledge of itself. And you are busy blogging!

Professor YANA - Professor You Are Not Alone. I love this show so very much.

J *In relation to taking off clothes without the need to*: Well, I look good though.

M *About the Companions*: God, I make us sound like stray dogs. Maybe we are.

I love how she said it with such acceptance, and doesn't make a big deal out of it. The Doctor is not human, and will never be anything else (less). She just accepted it, and I love her more for it.)

J: I'm the man who can never die.

It is the way he said it - weariness, acceptance and this sense of irony.

D: Just looking at you Jack 'cos You are wrong. *Interruption by Jack* You are, I can't help it. I'm a Time Lord, its instinct, it’s in my guts. You are a fixed point in time and space. You are a fact. That's never meant to happen.

    J: You are prejudiced.
D: I never thought of it like that.
    J: Shame on you.
    D: Yep.

    D: Rose.

My gods, the emphasis he had on her name.

D: She's gone Jack. She's not just living on a parallel world, she's trapped there. The walls have closed.
    J: I'm sorry.
    D: Yeah.

D: Do you want to die.
J: This one is a little stuck.
    D: Jack.
J: I thought I did, I don't know. But this lot. You see them out here surviving, and that's fantastic.

D: *In relation to Jack meeting himself in Utopia* Well, the only man you will ever be happy with.
J: This new regeneration. It's kind of cheeky.

Y: I was found with it.
M: Where did you get it?
Y: An orphan in the storm. I was a naked child found on the coast of Silver devastation. Abandoned with only this.

You are a fact.

This show, oh gods, this show.
