In between watching snippets of the Olympics I have been watching/reading bits and pieces of Generation Kill, a 7-part miniseries by HBO about a group of recon marines in the first few weeks of war on Iraq. It is all kind of awesome and I just want to draw little hearts around the series even though I know it is going to break my heart into tiny bits because they don’t pull their punches when it comes to the depiction of war. Guys, I just really love this show and it has a finite number and it is going to hurt and I just don’t know what to do.
