So, after getting over 11 hours of sleep I feel all sparkly. *sparkles* And since I have been a complete and utter bore for the past few weeks (RL/stress/blah blah) I bring fic recs to everyone. (Even if most…ok, like 99%, of my f-list are not interested in Angel, hell, this can be my own personal reference).


I absolutely adore Connor; Destroyer, Champion, Fate’s Bitch, Greek Tragedy waiting to happen (Oedipus complex played out on television was kind of uncomfortable.) Everything about his story I go slightly English-Major over. So, it is always such a treat to find a story about Connor post-NFA; someone who have two sets of memories; much saner than who he was during the Jasmine-arc, someone normal. But you know, I question it; because if nothing else Connor is Angel’s son, he’s someone with a Destiny that is so large on the Cosmic scale that people/beings were after him before he was born. You can’t just walk away from the Fight (proven by Buffy, by Angel, by the list of Champions who tried to walk away from the Fight, and never made it.) Therefore, no matter how /normal/ he is now, he is till a Champion with prophecies and a Destiny, and I truly believe that sooner or later Connor would have to /stop/ being normal and get back into the fight.

And for the Epic (that is a capital E there.) Three Deep is a virtual season AtS S6/BtVS S8. The first chapter Alley Oops is now up. And omfg! My little mind is blown away. It has been a damn long time since I read something this complex and rich, and with enough set-up and hints that I’m squeeing like a mad monkey. It /feels/ like an episode of Angel. Mad GLEE!

Hmm, so what sort of fic recs are people interested in? (I might be able to provide some). I mean, is it just anime/manga fanfics? I find that I’m reading more and more obscure fandom. As side note; some interesting things are happening in the slash, and western-fandoms (television series, and films) that is completely different from anime-fandom.
