But before that, Merry Christmas EVERYONE! I have had a great one!



Christopher Lee is just AWESOME! AWESOME! The man knows how it would feel when you get stabbed from the back! I mean that’s just so cool. Anyways, this is in relation to the added scene at Orthanc, where Wormtongue kill Saruman (I know this is chronologically wrong from the book but it works).

The few scenes that I –was- really happy that they added in:

1. Aragorn looking into the palantir, purposely drawing the attention of Sauron to him and away from the hobbits. Loved that in the book, loved it on film.
2. The Mouth of Sauron greeting Aragorn at the Gate of Mordor. It worked perfectly in the book, and while I can see why they had to cut it out in theatrical release I am over the moon that they left it in the DVD.
3. MERRY’s PARTS! ALL the extra Merry parts. I was delirious with joy.
4. The House of Healing. It is so important. Aragorn truly becomes King in the House, Eowyn and Faramir heals, meets, and falls in love. It is just so damn important.

Overall, I’m soooo happy with the DVD.
