As dad is taking a cigarette break.

Saw the first episode of Desperate Housewives. Would like to say the advertisement for it was very misleading in the cheating on husbands angle. Will probably like this series if I can be bothered to continue watching it on a weekly basis.

Off to watch bad K-drama.

They started showing it last week over here. I only caught it this week, just 2 hours ago in fact. It's... intriguing. I'm still deciding if it's worth my time since American drama series have never really caught my eye. Still, one can't help but wonder if it's alluding to the type of lives that we'd have say... 15 to 20 years from now? :D;;

It is intriguing, and more than slightly worrying. In 15 to 20 years... I'd love the house, the car, and the money but the other stuff... -_-;;

If nothing else the show make me feel uncomfortable at times, which is good thing. It is making me think.

I shall have to admit that certain moments in the episode I watched had me thinking - "these women are a psychoanalyist's dream!!" It certainly is something to think about: the future of your well-educated, middle-income girl marrying and living such lives.

I'd love the house, money and car too >D

Hell yeah! What remained of my inner psych student was screeching with glee. Being a housewife with a well-educated background seem to be bad. What fascinate me is the fact that I can spot some of their behaviours to people I know in RL. Not to that degree but definitely present.

The good stuff ^_^
