Their choice of fighting style does say a lot about their personality, even if the fight did deteriorate into a punch up -_-;; Hmm, maybe I should stop analysing it, but I CAN'T help it. NOT when Raito is a close body contact type of fighter, and L is teh long range type. It says a lot. It -really- does. Or the fact that L eventually get annoyed enough to get into close contact and attempt to punch Raito's face in ^^;; It's sort of cute.
I have read way too much shounen fight series NOT to analyse a character's fighting style (and the psych text books about body language doesn't hurt). It's fascinating. Now, if L suddenly pick up some sort of long range weapon, and Raito picks up some form of magical gauntlet, we can have DEATHNOTE: SHOUNEN FIGHT SERIES!

I half expected Naruto characters to pop into this chapter -_-;; I'm just falling for this series more more, because it is almost as if I have discovered a mangaka with a similar sense of humour as me (self-delusion on my part is purely acceptable). CAN'T WAIT for 39!!
DN is the only series I'm following these days. I'm so glad ^_^
Yes! "In this episode, this shall be a ninja manga!" And then we see them rappelling into the Kira^3 HQ, in ninja outfits. (Oh, and Misa can cosplay as Sakura--please, it works, 3 person Naruto teams. If they can reference PoT and make Light and L unexpectedly good at punching one another, why not ninjitsu?)
Hmm, I'm following DN, Naruto, PoT, Bleach. I was sorta following SK, but it ended in WTF. I may start up on FujiRyuu's new series, though.
It DOES WORK! I keep on hoping that they'd do another spoof cover for DN, and have the DN cast cosplaying characters fron different shounen series. I think Naruto would be a hoot. Big-eyed Raito will have to be Naruto, and L will have to be Sasuke, and Misa is SAKURA!!! (except with more leather). Oh, the PoT chapter, that made me laugh so damn hard. And using Shurikans and Jutsu! ..... I can see L attempting to use a Jutsu with his hand gestures, and the way he holds things.... someone so NEED to do a fusion, or something about them cosplaying.
Naruto is becoming painful, I shall wait until further notice, Bleach, I wait till it is released in volumes, and PoT, I'm waiting for the NAtionals to begin properly. As for SK... pretty much WTF. YES!! FujiRyuu's NEW WORK! I have heard about it but I know NOTHING!

Yes.... Although Light is more like Sasuke in style and personality (but it's messed up because there is no L-like chara in Naruto). I wouldn't be surprised if there was already fanart.
Essentially, in Naruto, something important only happens once every month. The rest is just fight scenes. I wonder what happened this week in PoT? It remains to be seen how long it will take to nationals (I would guess a week or two, but in manga time, this can be three years XD). I've heard some things about Waq Waq, but I forgot them.
But sad to say, I was most facinated by L's semi-exposed back. Ah ah ah, the temperature of the room suddenly rose. *puzzled*
On the fan side of things, this herald's interesting poses for cosplay. Hm.

Dude, DON'T let them duke it out, LET them be on the SAME team. In SILENT HILL! DIE STUPID DOGS OF DOOM! Hell, with L's and Raito's brain, the puzzles would be a piece of cake. The only I'd be worried about is Raito suddenly deciding to somehow attempt to utilise the creatures in Silent Hill for Worl DOmination, and L going after the babies, 'cos you know they're sort of fascinating ^^:;;

Hm, doujinshi are a vague indicator of how popular a series is with a certain audience, so it's skewed, but for some reason seems to be rather accurate with JUMP series. Was browsing through jahoo, there's about 300+ doujins up on the auction, all to Death Note, which is quite respectable for a newish sorta series. Take into account POT has 3000+ doujins up there though. ><;;;
