Me too. HAve to admit it was for all the hype surrounding the anime. I just had to re-read thru the first volume to see how much they changed, then it became two volumes, and so on *sigh*

Hmm, fav character... it is really hard to say, they all have their moments, but if I have to choose one I'll have to say Zangetsu (the sword) followed closely by Uraha ^_^ (my straw-hat wearing bum, how I aodre thee).

... WHY? How can they NOT see it! They are MEANT to BE! You are right, they do not see the PERFECTION that is Rukia/Ichigo! They understand each, they care for each other, and the MOST important thing, they trust each other. Sure, they can JUST be friends but, but, but I don't see how these people justify themselves when Naruto/Sasuke is considered canon! (of course, they probably aren't Naruto fans, but you get my point).

(out of curiousity, so, what couples do they see? Or is it a strictly none couple-ish series for people? As you can tell I know nothing of the fandom).

Hmm. I see your point. I have to admit when I think about Ichigo and Rukia I think of them together. Meant to be, and all that.

Just not sexually together. Not saying I can't see it. It is just that I want to read MOUNTAIN of fics about the two of them. Together. Friends. Somewhere in between. I don't care, I just want to see them together.

I'm no making much sense am I? -_-; It is just that their relationship is so, so pure. Hmm, pure isn't exactly the right word. It is their dynamic. You know that come hell or high water that the two of them will be together, and that the two of them depend on each other and trust each other. This isn't just blind faith on either of their parts, it is the knowledge that they are capable of accomplishing the things that need to done. And it is that sort of understanding, that sort of trust that isn't depended on blind faith that make them work for me. Urgh, I'm just not getting it right.

But I can picture Renji/Rukia in a sexual relationship. I blame the smexy one ^_^V

The reason I see RenjiRukia a bit more is because Renji is -so- obvious about how he feels for Rukia, while the whole Ichigo and Rukia thing is -really- vague (which I -really- like). Ditto on the past and feeling sorry for Renji. I keep on thinking that Rukia and Renji -could- have been great together, if they had more time together (for Rukia to let her feelings change), but the problem is Renji -never- did say anything (stupid!) and I get the feeling Rukia never even thought about it (though she could have if only she didn't get adopted).

So, yeah.

... I want RENJI/RUKIA!
