Peace Maker anime can kiss my fat arse.

Because I have been ranting, and ranting whenever I actually have time to (that excludes pretty much most of the time that's dedicated to psych, sleep, and eating... uhh, I don't know how I found the time, but I did), even on other people's ljs. It is time for me to blah on my own lj.

So, anyways, onwards. PeaceMaker anime have officially lost my interest. I was all set on preparing to give it a chance, even though I did have reservations, but I thought "hey, they are sticking with the storyline, just because the animation isn't your thing, and you don't like the way they handled certain things, doesn't mean you should diss it, etc., etc."

Well, screw that. PeaceMaker anime and its shiny, shiny, shiny CG, can kiss my fat arse. Ep. 4 sucked. Animation quality seemed to have gone down, plot-line went WTF? and all the little things that was pissing me off about the anime have crystallised.

I HATE the way the anime is going. HATE, HATE, HATE, HATE, HATE, HATE! Animation style annoys me, the way they handled transfer between comedy to seriousness annoys me, and damn it, I just HATE the anime. And I shouldn't.

I LOVE the manga, I think I might be breathing and living the manga ([livejournal.com profile] perseid, shut up), to see them screw it up. ARGH!!! I'm not that hard to please, really, but damn it, if anime production company continues to screw up my favourite manga series, I'm gonna go back to my manga and my PS2, and saying goodbye to crap anime. The only thing that's making me happy on the anime front is PoT and Sexy Commando (it makes me laugh, which is more than I can can say about a lots of other stuff).

Fine, Gonzo, I HATE you, and your SHINY CG too!

[EDIT: Yes, I am sufferring from period cramps, yes, I'm sufferring from exam stress, but the bottom line is that I still HATE the anime. So, nyah.]

Glad I amuse.

I'm sticking by them, unless you tell me it's worth getting back into the anime.

When the exams are over, I'm gonna write that damn Shaman King fic even if it kills me. And you are going to edit, 'cos my grammar suck. Beside, I need someone who know the storyline to go through it, and tell me if I'm making some really big errors.

nah, you're absolutely right. o__O it *is* a crap anime *sigh* all the misgivings we had early on were founded after all. =(

was going thru kurogane again, and i realise that i really wanna know what's the deal with the Ryoma dude. ^^ The black dude who calls himself 'Nihonjin' (my foot) and who knows their dad. Aaaaaaaand, i wanna know what's up with Tatsunosuke - i'm betting that somewhere in the past, he's picked up a weapon before, and a gun at that, judging from the intense brooding he does when he sees Ryoma using one.

i'm not touching Suzu with a ten foot pole. o__O didja know kurogane starts three months after the first arc? just three months and he's gone Goth and creepy.

and if i've spoilt anyone else who's reading this, well pfft.

*nods* Very annoyed and peeved. Grr.

Yes, me TOO, me TOO!! And is he working for the Chosu side? I'm a bit blah when it comes to the politics. Which raises an interseting q, just waht was Tetsu's dad involved in.He's so not your garden variety, 'Oh poor innocent bystander.' Oh definitely.

I specifically want to know if Tesunosuke actually have any fighting ability at all. If he doesn't he defnitekly grew up around fighting. There's no way someone knows that much about fighting, etc. without knowing how to fight themselves, or at least grew up around it. Oh definitely, he probably have enough angst to drown a country. I just don't belief he adjusted that well to this parents dying. No way.

As for Suzu.... he scare me. He really scare me. He scare me in a "Mummy, he's creepy" sort of way. Three months?! WTF? Threemonths, and he went from relatively cute to full blown man-slut... uhh, I mean Gothboy reborn.

Pffft indeed. Keep on going. I need my outlet.

man-slut, uh huh. *nodding head* that was the phrase that eluded me. shall need to write it down for further reference. =P

from the beginning Tetsu's been kinda introduced as Nitouryuu, so he HAS to learn it somewhere - being the stubborn kid that he is tho', I can see him practising it on his own, since it's been two yrs since his parents died. But yeah, I'm more interested in the older brother, now that Tetsu's gotten his way, joined the Shinsengumi, made friends with Susumu, made friends with Suzu, beat up Suzu's sensei real bad, lost Suzu... o__O mwaaaaaa, second book has scarred me for life - I can see it just spiralling downwards for here on in later vols. I'm praying Ryoma comes back soon, if for anything comic relief. ^^

........... even the thought of you saying that boggles the mind.

I meant Tatsu. Tatsu. Argh! their names are too damn similar. But what you said makes sense. However, what I said before was meant to apply to Tatsu.

I want to know what Tatsu can do. Obviously, he's not going to be holding up the family name and all, but I want to know what he can do!!!

The second book have made cry like baby, and have forever ingrained itself in my mind as the moment that Peace Maker got serious.

Awww, Gonzo's alright if they just stick to original productions.
Their manga adaptations. Well, let's just say the animation doesn't really suit for?

They are not. That's the problem. The have officially deviated from the story, by oh, the FIRST SERIES!!!

*breathes in* This is sort of causing me pain *sigh*

No, the animation is just oo shiny. Too damn smooth. Hand painted cells would have made the anime much more enjoyable. PM is just one of those series that shouldn't be that shiny.

*watches the temple throb*

best to just sta~~~~~y away from it, PMK anime. Well, its brutal, but CG is more cost effective, and its what the fans go for these days. Me, yeah, I long for the days of cel. I feel like an old codger caught in the past. I haven't read enough of PMK manga to judge, but that's my view.

Last Exile is Good Gonzo. I loves it much.

*the temple does indeed throb*

I know its cost effective. I just wish that they know how to handle it properly. Sometime they do a wonderful job, other time it feels like they know shit all. Hell, if htey had stuck with the story line, I would have put up with the shiny-ness.

Will watch that after exam. I take it the series wasn't based off a manga?
