SPOILERS for HnG 69 (sort of).
Review notes:
1. Ogata-sensei, picking up pretty young boys in your small, shiny, red sport car is doing horrible things to your reputation. Unless, you're thinking of opening a business ^_^
2. Detective Isumi, GO, GO, GO!
3. Isumi, I love you terribly, you're smart, kind, honest, and really hot (particularly in this ep), but asking a manipulative older man for a ride in his small, shiny, red sport car is not a smart thing to do. Unless you want your first to be someone with experience (and Ogata-sensei seem to have much experiene).
4. Kuwabara-sensei, you're one dangerous old man. Remind me never to play poker with you. And your psychic powers continue to awe me.
5. Akira-dear, you're beautiful, smart, and carry off that hair-do, so, why oh why are you wearing that horribly coloured shirt.
6. Hikaru, my sweet darling boy, I know you miss Sai and he's more important to you than your own parents, but if you sigh his name mournfully one more time I'm going to wrap my hands around your little neck and squeeze. Hard.
And that pretty much conclude HnG 69 review. It's always good to know you can still make fun of something you love, beside, I seriously was thinking teh above at the time ^^;;;

POT 69 Review (watched this a few days ago, so, I might be mistaken on a few things):
1. Where are MY Regulars?!! Two minutes of screen time and semi-shirtless Ryoma does not count!!
2. Semi-shirtless Ryoma... *drool* NOOOO *shakes head* Will not fall for such an underhanded tactic on the parts of the company to draw in the female fans. WILL NOT (but so pretty).
3. WHERE was Tezuka!?! You horrible, mean people leaving it like that *sniffles*.
4. Cheer to the first years. More screen time and character building. And so adorable, like beanie babies (yum, sugar).

Exactly what I was thinking, much to my own embarrassment. (I persist in refusing to see yaoi undertones in Hikaru no Go. There are none!)
I must say, Ogata-sensei looked devilishly sexy playing the enigmatic older man. Almost expected him to turn to Isumi, quirk one eyebrow and say "And what will you give me for this information I have?"
Enter smutty parody. ^^;
And yes, Ogata is indeed devilishly sexy, but that still doesn't excuse the Mr. Pimp act, especially not to poor, naive (terribly hot) Isumi-san, its's bad enough that he pushed Hikaru into that wall (yum, wall... *shakes head*), and give rides to Akira whenever he gets the chance to. I'm telling you the man is playing the field ^_-

The boy is indeed molestable (is that even a word?), I think it's the whole nice, flustered nice guy thing (and the fact he's just cute).
I'm of the firm belief Kuwabara-sensei knows a good thing when he sees it. From what I remember of the encounter wasn't Kuwabars-sensei flirting wiht Isumi? (I remember thinking "You know Kuwabara-sensei, in some culture what you're doing can be called sexual harassment.") Or was that just me?
And mental pictures of caddying send me into a fit of muffled laughter.
The thing with HnG yaoi/shounen ai fics is that it need to be done well and handled carefully, and more often than not it probably won't have any hot steamy sex involving Hikaru and Akira. Hmm, unless the author can relate it back to go in some way or form, and I don't think Akira pumping out go stones in place of semen is the way to go *winces* that's got to be painful.
But yes, sex in HnG world need a particular sort of suspension of belief (I can do it ^__^). To protect myself, and make myself happy in seeing HnG yaoi, I read Alex, Squid and Sabina's HnG fics (particularly Akira and Hikaru) and thank the gods that the three fell into HnG.

The instances of Ogata-sensei first "picking up" young, pretty boys is increasing exponentially too. First Akira, now Isumi!! Next thing, it'll be Hikaru. I squirm and try not to let my imagination run amok.
