On another note, I totally can't get into mullet rock :D;;
I've to agree with you on the dislike for the tanned look, though my reasoning is more of - "unless you are blue collar, a tanned look just means you are vain and boring (for spending so much time in the sun)." Pale is okay as long as you don't mean pasty white XD;; I'm headed slightly against the Asian ideal in that I like my guys with some toned meat on them - not some skinny little twink types because, gross.
I think I'll get over the "I'm going to snag this very fine guy for myself!" stage once I settle into a regular BGR. Not dating for 7 years at the prime of your child-bearing years can do this to you!
The Great Romance of Sam and Dean - AWESOME. I love it when the creative team gets into the crack with us. This fandom is amazing, with what I've seen of the Plastic!Winchesters, the postcard project, etc. I've honestly never been in a fandom with such an active fanbase before. Sure, the 'Heroes' cast and creative team love to feed us slashy crack, but the fandom just isn't as active on the give-back, ya know?
I think you just spoilt 'Heart' for me, dammit XD;; I've not seen it yet, but I do know Sam gets it on with some chick. Personally I don't really like sex scenes on TV or in the theatres, if just for the fact that I am constantly aware that "they're acting" and it bothers me that people reduce such a beautiful thing into a pale imitation of what it really is about - 2 people connecting on a level that is not possible in any other way. Plus, it's pretty rare that the actor/actress doing it have enough chemistry to not come off as faking it. Sure, it's nice and steamy and it feeds the fangirls like crazy, especially the ones who like to visualise themselves in the role of the lucky lady. But it never really works for me. I think it's safe to say I'm adhering to the Scorpio stereotype of SEX = RELIGION.
... Boy I just sprouted a whole lot of bullcrap :D;;
Still, watching Sam and Dean get it on it hot. I mean, with other chicks. What did you think I was implying? I was not implying Wincest. No way. No siree.
