[livejournal.com profile] perseid, I'm not sure if you have seen this yet but below is a clip of Epik High's performance of Fan at this year's KM 2007 Golden Disk Award. I think it is their best live performance of the song, ever. They used the gayageum for the song, and it just add layers to it.

Also, I know you don't have much of an interest in SuJu outside of their appearances on variety shows, but check out their performaces at the KM 2007 Golden Disk Award. K.R.Y. plus Kangin, Sungmin and Siwon did a Jazz rendition of Marry You (this is awesome in ways that make use of their individual strong points). They also performed Don't Don (insane as usual, I tend to forget just how good they really are during their fast songs). However, it is A Man In Love that gets to me. It has one of the most bizarre dance choreography that's really hard to describe, and I can't tell you why I like it so much. The following clip has all 3 performances.

How fortuitous. I actually watched the SuJu performance just before I left - over and over again. XD Also was going to check out Epik High's performance, but um, left already. =D

The SuJu performance makes me ridiculously happy. I know you have left, but if you do happen upon the time and speedy internet connection you definitely need to watch the clip. The string instrument accompanying the whole song is just awesome.

Have a good time!

Oh, Epik High! Best performance of the night :)

SuJu's jazz number was just okay for me. None of them sang very well (well, I guess except Kyu and Ryeo) and the arrangement was nothing special. And then I dislike lipsynched performances. T_T And there was not enough Eeteuk. T_T

I liked Seeya, too. :) And Younha is always awesome. :)

Epik High is just AWESOME! LOVES them so very much!

AHAHAHAHA! Your SuJu reaction is the sane reaction. (Yes, Kyu and Ryeo are awesome, though I LOVE Yesung voice to bits). It is really bizarre but I think watching so much Korean concerts has made me much more open to lysynch concerts, though there's nothing like watching DBSK perform live. I think they are trying to give the other members more time under the spotlight, and Eeteuk does still make many appearances on variety shows. Actually, have you seen SuJu on Explorers Of The Human Body? So funny!

Seeya didn't do as much for me, though Younha was just awesome, as usual.

What other Korean singers do you like? Tell me.

Mehehe, I don't HATE SuJu! On the contrary, they're a hilarious group, I only dislike one of them, their songs are kinda catchy, but...only like, two or three can really sing. Yesung can sing well, but he's kind of inconsistent and goes off key a lot...I don't know. Maybe it's just the music major in me. Feel free to smack me. >o<

I have seen Explorers of the Human Body, and it is funny most of the time! I don't really like Kangin, though...so some of the things he does in there are a bit rude. But other than that, it's funny.

I liked Seeya's second song that they sung. I'm familiar with most Korean singers, but nowadays, my favorite singers would include Hwayobi (who had to get surgery on her throat T_T), V.O.S, and Buzz (who disbanded T_T).
