Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles

So, Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles and why it makes me ridiculously happy.

Lena Headey as Sarah Connor is pretty damn awesome. I love the fact that they chose a woman in her mid 30's to play the role when they could have chosen someone younger and more of a traditional Hollywood pretty. That is, Headey has the facial features to carry off the role of Sarah Connor, and there is an inner strength to her that shines through, and you know, that's who Sarah Connor is meant to be.

How much do I love the idea of sending a person into the past for the sole purpose of building a weapon? A LOTS! OMFG! It was one of those moment that stunned me completely because it was a brilliant, smart plan. You don't get many awesome tactical moments on televsions. I have so much hope for this series.

John Connor the younger never did much for me, nor did the T3 version. The John Connor, Saviour of Mankind, was the person that I kind of went gaga over. This particular version of John; young adolescent, could be far annoying then he is, that is, there is hope for the guy. Also, his need to find a father-figure in his life is both heart breaking and irritating.

EEE! I love her, I love how she mimics real human behaviour, love how she doesn't have any emotion, love how she is different from the other cyborgs. LOVES

- I WANT Sarah/Female!Terminator slash. The two of them are hot.
- LOVES the gun and violence in this series.
- Cool female characters make me SQUEE.
- There is a PLOT! EEEE!

Random things - DAVID NUTTER! LAWERENCE, KANSAS! AHAHAHAHAHA!

Being the huge Terminator fan that I am, it's good to hear that the TV series had a good start. I'm not sure if I want to start, erm, 'acquiring' these episodes, though, since TV-land doesn't hold much appeal for me as of late. I mean, geez, I have all the SPN S3 episodes, but I've never been motivated enough to start watching them.

PS: Any reply from Marcus so far?

I love Terminator with all of my little fangirl heart. I remember writing/thinking about fanfic where the Kyle survived the film, and he and Sarah lived happily ever after at the age of 6 (or possibly 7). So far the series is kind of awesome. If you want I can mail you the first season when they finish showing it. Also, WATCH s3!!

Bugger. Have not emailed him, will do so tomorrow. I completely forgot. Thank you for reminding me!

My favourite has got to be T2. Sure, the sfx looks corny by now, but it'll always be a classic. And I always thought that it'd be a bit loopy - "my dad isn't even born yet" said John in T2.

I'm most keen on the idea of Christian Bale joining the Terminator franchise for T4, though!

Don't worry about it. I think Marcus is busy too - I've not heard from him for almost a month now!

I love T2 because Sarah Connor was/is awesome in it, and John Connor began to seem real to me, and it was just awesome in all sorts of ways.

Bale in T4 makes me happy. I'd like to see him as John Connor.

Oh good, I'll still get an email to him tomorrow, definitely before the week ends.
