OMFG! DBSK's first life performance of Purple Line in Korea!! OMFG!

perseid, are you WATCHING THIS?! AND IF YOU ARE NOT, YOU MUST! RIGHT NOW! OK, I like the song much more in KOREAN! OMFG! EEEE! EEEE! They LOOK so damn HAPPY! The only thing I don't like - WHY ARE THEY LIPSYNCHING?! It isn't as if they haven't performed the song LIVE in Japan. Sometime, Korea confuses me.

They are seriously looking good here (tho' Yunho's hair irks me). And I would make all sorts of excuses for the lipsyncing, if only because it lets them perform the song in its entirety and with less encumbrance. =D

Changmin and Junsu are seriously made of win. All I can say is, Changmin is really growing up. =P And Junsu flesh - man, even I am not immune. -_- And there's been some noise about Yoochun looking like he's put on weight, but that is a GOOD thing. I love how much healthier he looks.

Strangely enough tho', each time I watch it, I can't help pondering that this is likely their title song for 2008, ala Rising Sun for 2005 and O Jung Ban Hup for 2006. (Sept 2008 KOREAN ALBUM! YES!) Comparatively, I still prefer Rising Sun the most - I love that they are getting better as performers, but conversely, I can't help feeling that they're losing some of that raw energy as they polish their skills.

Don't get me wrong I'm all for making excuses as to why they are lipsynching, it is just that they have done this performance LIVE in Japan with some amazing results but they must lipsynch. I'm more bemused then anything else.

Changmin is all sort of awesome in this clip, I CANNOT articulate how much I adore him. And I KNEW you were NOT immune to the JunSu flesh; he looked gorgeous in this. And Yoochun LOOKS healthy, which meakes him look so much hotter than what he was. Oh gods, everytime I see their old clips I have this urge to feed Micky.

*NODS* Definitely, it would be insane to let this song slide when it has so much energy and momentum behind it. And you are right; there is a raw energy in their 'Rising Sun' performance that they have slowly lost as they become so much more professional and polished. However, while I adore Rising Sun I admit O Jung Ban Hup is my favourite song of theirs, it was song that pretty much solidified my love for them with no looking back.

You know, it is interesting because I think I have a preference for raw energy than technique in most forms of media/text. I definitely prefer earlier works from some of my fav authors, and I find myself being entranced by raw performances in acting. Don't get me wrong, being a master of their specialisation is amazing, but I think the more polished someone become in something the less they can see the beauty, the amazingness of imperfection.

I feel so wanky but it is how I feel.
