Caught up with Torchwood (eps 8 to 11), the thing with Torchwood is that I really want to like the series, yet it continuously underperforms. I remember the happy glee of the few two episodes of season 2 but since then I have been getting more and more bored with the series. However, a few happy thoughts; I am very pleased with the characterisation of this season; I can wax poetics about all of them rather than hating them with a passion, and there is a sense of coherent team, which was greatly lacking season 1. Yet I find myself loosing lots of interest in the last 4 to 5 episodes (Owen made it worthwhile, but everything else just felt rather flat), and I’m rather annoyed because I really want to love this series and it was doing such a brilliant job at the beginning of the season.

Oh well, 2 more episodes, maybe it’ll get more interesting, after all the last 5 mins of season 1 saved the show for me. And if nothing else there is Doctor Who, which hopefully will be coming back very soon, because that is one show that have not disappointed me yet.
